Summary: This is just for fun. I encouraged my youth group to try and come up with a story made up of all scripture that would not change the menaing of the text. This was my example.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Then God said let us make man in Our image according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The Lord God planted a Garden eastward in Eden, and there he put the man who He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. And the Lord God commanded the man saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” And the Lord caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh. Gen:1-1, 26,2:7-9,16-17,21-22,24

The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?” And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that he who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ “and said, ‘For this reason man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh’? “ So then they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together let no man separate.” (Mat 19:3-6)

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘you shall not eat of the tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; “but the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the Garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. “ For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband and he ate.( Gen 3:1-6)

Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was lead by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended He was hungry. And the devil said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him saying, “It is written ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word of God.’” (Luke 4:1-4)

Now Adam knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.” Then she bore again, this time his brother Abel. Now Able was keeper of the sheep, but Kane was a tiller of the ground. And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Able and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry and his countenance fell. So the Lord said to Cain “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? “If you do well will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it. Now Cain talked with Abel his brother and it came to pass, when they were in a field, that Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. (Gen 4:1-8)

We know we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know love that He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this worlds goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart form him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word, or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. (1st John 3:14-18)

And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years and begot a son in his own likeness after his own image, and named him Seth. Seth lived one hundred and five years and begot Enosh. Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Cainan. Cainan lived seventy years and begot Mahalalel. Mahalalel lived sixty-five years and begot Jared. Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years and begot Enoch. Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. After he begot Methuselah Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God and he was not for God took him. Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty seven years and begot Lamech. Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years and had a son. And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work, and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed. “ (Gen 5:3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21-25, 28-29)

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and the every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man who I have created from the face of the earth, both man, and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

“I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh. “I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep my judgments and do them. (Ezekiel 36:26-27) For in that He Himself has been tempted He is able to aid those who are tempted. (Heb 2:18) By this we know that we love the Children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. (1st John 5:2) If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. (1st John 1:9)

4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8(for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)-- 9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. (2 Peter 2:4-11)

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
