I. HAVE WE PREPARED OUR HEARTS TO RECIEVE GOD’S PROMISES AND THE DIVINE BLESSINGS?

GOD HAS MANY PROMISES FOR YOU!
GOD DESIRES TO BLESS YOU ...
B. TEXT:
Isaiah 54:2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

Isaiah 54:2 "Enlarge the place of your tent,stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
C. GOD WILL SO BLESS YOU THAT YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO CONTAIN IT ALL.
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts,
if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
II. WILL WE TAKE THE DEEP SPIRITUAL THINGS OF GOD?
WHAT WILL WE DO WHEN WE LOOSE THE CUTTING EDGE?
YOU HAVE TO ARISE AND TAKE IT!
A. HOUSTON: WE HAVE A PROBLEM HERE?
The training school for preachers needed to be remodeled and enlarged...
B. ELISHA THE NEW PREACHER ASSIGNS EACH MAN INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY.
This work was more than what one man could do.
C. Elisha would hold the men --- mentally, morally, legally accountable.
The men had to be reliable and dependable.
2 Kings 6:2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he

D. There was a hard working, poor young man that had borrowed an AXE. This lost axe head would cause a BLACK EYE TO THE YOUNG PREACHER...

E. WHILE GOD MADE DIVINE PROVISIONS FOR THE AXE HEAD

YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT!

III. CAN WE ACCEPT THE SPIRITUAL ISSUE OF CHOICES AND LETTING GOD?
Psalm 68:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee
before him.
A. Let is often used in the imperative form --- order or command
B. LET:
TO GIVE PERMISSION
To not prevent or not hinder
To make
To offer
To give opportunity
To fail to prevent
To free from confinement
To give permission to be inhabited
IV. WILL WE PLAY DEAD OR WILL WE WRESTLE?
A. JACOB WAS IN A HUGE MESS!
B. THERE WAS A DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY?
The family had favoritism and lies and deceit.
C. Jacob was running for his life.
D. JACOB REFUSED TO LET THE ANGEL GO --- UNLESS HE BLESSED HIM. IS IT WORTH IT?
Genesis 32:26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said,
I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
E. JACOB’S CHOICE THAT NIGHT REQUIRED GREAT FAITH AND GREAT EFFORT, AND HE WOULD LIMP THE REST OF HIS DAYS ---
V. ACCEPT GOD’S PROMISES FOR YOU!
A. WE WE OPERATE IN SPIRITUAL DREAD AND FEAR?
FEAR IS DOUBT AND DOUBT IS FEAR.
B. When God speaks and teaches us spiritual truths we must listen and learn!
We must always MOVE IN HOPE AND OPTIMISM.
Deut. 28:59 Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
C. WE LACK FAITH WHEN WE ACCEPT THE NEGATIVE MESSAGES OF DOOM AND GLOOM --- FOR ALL NEGATIVE MESSAGES THAT GOD CAN’T ROOT BACK TO ONE SOURCE --- A LACK OF FAITH.
Deut. 28:67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
D. QUESTIONS OF CREDIBILITY: ( Is this worth my belief system?)
1. Can God do this?
2. Can God do this for me? Will I believe?
3. When will God do this for me?
4. Do I believe in personal promises and blessings from God?
E. Many stand on God’s personal promises for yesterday?
Others believe that maybe tomorrow God will?
Few stand on the BLESSINGS AND PROMISES FOR TODAY!
VI. WILL WE BE SATISFIED TO LIVE BENEATH OUR PRIVILEGE?
WILL WE ACCEPT LESS THAN GOD BEST AS OUR NORM?
A. Will we allow discouragement to hinder God’s healing to flow?
B. Will we focus on something stupid from our past to dictate what God can do for us today?
C. CAN GOD ARISE BEYOND THE REACH OF OUR HANDS?
CAN HE TOUCH ABOVE OUR LIMITATIONS?
D. Let is often used in the imperative form --- order or command
VII. GOD WANTS US TO DO MORE THAN TO STAND GAZING?
A. Are we day dreaming about night things in the middle of the afternoon?
B. Why should we stand with our hands in our pockets waiting for
PIE TO FALL OUT OF THE SKY?
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
C. This is not a game?
D. Your choices, your zeal, your action will set loose a move of God?
E. GOD WANTS YOU TO WRESTLE AND TAKE IT!
Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
F. TAKE:
To apply oneself to study or learn
To win by competition
To get into one’s hands
To get into your possession, power, or control
To acquire by eminent domain
To attack by sudden force
To gain approval or liking of
To bring or receive
To obtain
To move into or on to
To adopt as one’s own
To submit to
TO ACCEPT WITH THE MIND AND OR THE HEART
To apprehend or understand
G. TO TAKE HEART --- TO GAIN COURAGE OR CONFIDENCE
H. I WILL NOT LET GO ---- I WILL NOT LET GO UNLESS YOU BLESS ME

VIII. GOD DESIRES TO BLESS YOU --- SO YOU CAN BLESS OTHERS --- THE MORE YOU ACCEPT AND MOVE IN GOD’S PROMISES AND GOD’S BLESSINGS THE MORE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO BLESS OTHER PEOPLE.
A. God is depending on the logs you cut.
B. Others will go to school and learn of God IN YOUR ENLARGED TENT.

C. WE CAN’T STAY THE SAME!
1. ENLARGE --- YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS
2. STRETCH --- YOUR FAITH!
3. LENGTHEN YOUR CORDS
4. STRENGTHEN THE STAKES --- DIG DEEPER
IX. SICKLY OAKS FROM SICKLY ACORNS GROW.
GOD DESIRES TO BLESS YOU SO YOU CAN BLESS OTHERS.
YOU CAN NOT GIVE WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE?
YOU CAN NOT SELL WHAT YOU ARE NOT SOLD ON!
A. YOU CONTROL THE SIZE OF THE HARVEST!
B. If the seed you have is not enough, then the seed is to be sown.
2 Cor. 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
C. Today many people eat the seed corn.
D. BLESSED TO BLESS.
Genesis 12:1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
X. TAKE THE DIVINE PROMISE OF HEALING!
YAHWEH-ROPHEKA --- JEHOVAH-RAPHA
A DIVINE BLESSING THAT IS CONDITIONAL TO THE OBEDIENT IN A COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH A HOLY GOD!
A. WHAT DOES HEALING MEAN TO YOU?
Yes, it is health, but healing is much more than just getting out of pain.
Healing is:
To make sound or whole
To cause to overcome
To return to a sound state
To patch up
To cure, to find a remedy
To repair, to restore
To mend
To fix
To restore
TO SUSTAIN
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that
healeth thee.
THIS VERSE SUGGESTS HEALING CAN BE CONTINUAL:
WE HEAR HIS VOICE --- WE DEVELOP A LISTENING EAR ---
WE HEED HIS VOICE --- WE TAKE HIS WORD TO HEART ---
WE KNOW HIS PROMISES IN A PERSONAL WAY ---
FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS ---
SING PRAISE NO MATTER WHAT!
Psalm 137:4 How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land?
