LIVING IN THE ANNOINTING.
ACTS CH 2 v. 1-5
(use This scripture and talk about how the anointing fell that day.)
*To live in the anointing we must understand first what the anointing is.
*Secondly how to obtain the anointing
* And finally how the anointing effects your life.
1. The anointing of God is what Breaks the yoke. The Statement he/she is anointed simply means that they have an abundance of power given them from God.
- To understand the power of the anointing means that you will have to go through some trials and test along the way.
- Everyone’s anointing is different than others.
-- It is the anointing that allows for the gifts of God, for example (speaking in tongues, the interoperation…etc…..)
-- Finally the anointed is given to all who will accept it, and comes from being baptized with fire (the Holy Spirit)
2. How do we obtain the anointing?
-- There are 3 keys to the anointing that all link together.
1. Obedience. Obedience is better than any sacrifice says the bible.
- Obedience simply put, is doing whatever God tells with out question.
-- I’m not saying that you won’t question God but what I am saying is this:
-
When God Tells you to do something no matter what it is you do it. -
-Yes there will come questions and concerns in your mind along the way.
--It is in the fleshly nature to second guess ourselves, so naturally were going to sometimes second guess God.
-- We should do what God wants us to no matter what.
2. Staying in the will of God
-- Staying in the will of God walks hand and hand with obedience.
-- if you are not obedient to Gods voice then you will not walk in the will of God.
-- God gives us all something to do at one time or another, some more important that others, but the point is no matter what it is that God tells us to do then we must do it.
-- If we are obedient to the voice of God then when we do what he wants then that means we are walking in the will of God.
-- When your not obedient and not walking in the will of God then you will know it because, everything that you do will seem to fail.
* To stay in the will of God means that you have to be obedient to his word, his voice, and servants.
** How Does the anointing affect your life?
--When you have the anointing on your life you will be able to talk with boldness.
--The anointing gives your power like no other power.
-- you will hear things you never heard
-- you will say things you never said
-- When you have the anointing you must remember not just the good side but you must also remember that the bible says to whom much is given also is much required.
--Having the anointing is a great responsibility, God knows this.
-- Just remember that if God didn’t think you could have handled it he would never have given it to you.
** CONCLUSION**
-- first thing to remember is that the anointing is not to be used or handled lightly, it comes with great responsibility.
You must first remember to be obedient and in the will of God for your personal life before the church can do the will of God.
No matter what the man of God says, if he/she is anointed then you must be obediante to the will and voice of God. I have stated many times and I will say it again, God speaks in many ways, and one of the ways is by the pastor or man of God. Don’t be like many and disobey the man of God, because chances are good that he is anointed enough to know what God has said for the church.
We must learn that the church must have a vision and unity to become anointed.
The anointing in the ministry or for the church/ministry is the same but also different. We as a church must learn to obey God’s voice and do that which he has commanded of us to do as a church/ministry.
If we continue to do what God has told us to do in our church/ministry then the bible will fulfill itself and signs and wonders shall follow him that believes.
