a. The development of the problem through analysis of things gone wrong in the situation
b. relating those wrongs to individuals interest, wants, desires
3. Satisfaction
a. the proposal of a plan which will alleviate the problem
b. satisfy the individuals interest, wants, desires
4. Visualization
the verbal depiction of the situation as it will look if the plan/ answer is put into operation
( the listener is in the picture)
5. Action
the final call for personal commitment and action with a plan or course to run on
