Praying With Anointing

Summary: The power that drives men and women of prayer into powerful encounters with the Powerful God comes from the Holy Spirit.
Nothing motivates like answered prayer. At the same time, nothing frustrates like unanswered prayer.
The Four Common Reasons of Unanswered Prayer
There are four common hindrances to answered prayers. The first barrier is inappropriate request, the second obstacle is wrong timing and the third is God’s disqualification of the praying person, which may come most times as a result of sin, unbelief or selfishness.
Everything about Prayer is Spiritual
The fourth common reason why so many prayers seems to have no results is what I want you to give attention to henceforth. It’s praying without an anointing!
Without the help of the Holy Spirit, prayer is simply reduced to an emotional exercise and religious obligations.
This is one of the major reasons we have so much praying going on in our nation with so little effects and results accompanying it.
Authorized by the Holy Spirit
The authority to pray is given by the Spirit and the authority that prayer gives comes from the Holy Spirit. It was written about Jesus that He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. We also see that He left the wilderness in the power of the Spirit (Luke 4:1,14).
Develop Hatred for Lifeless Praying
The power that drives men and women of prayer into powerful encounters with the Powerful God comes from the Holy Spirit.
Much of the lifeless, resultless, dry and inane prayers we raise before the Lord is attributable to going on in prayer without yielding ourselves to the Holy Spirit.
We need the Holy Spirit in order to pray as God counts praying. No matter how many hours we spend in prayer, we have not prayed except we have prayed through our dependence on the Holy Spirit.
May the Lord give each of us wisdom in this specific area.
