Prayer For Fear

by

Dr. Gale A. Ragan-Reid (July 29, 2014)

“LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me” (Psalms 3:1, King James Version [David prayed when he fled from his son Absalom]).

Greetings In The Holy Name Of Jesus,

Let us pray:

Father, many are the fears of those who seek you LORD. Father, my prayer is for those who fear the attacks of loved ones, for those who fear the shadows at night, for those who fear the unseen hidden forces of darkness, for those who think they are being harassed, terrorized, defamed, disgraced, tormented, insulted and offended, for those who doubt the power of God to protect them, who doubt their ability to keep a job, who doubt they can keep their husband's love. LORD, David prayed when he fled from Absalom his own son (Third Psalm of David):

“LORD, how are they increased that trouble me!

Many are they that rise up against me. Many there

be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in

God. Selah. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me;

my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto

the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of

his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I

awaked; for the LORD sustained me. I will not be

afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set

themselves against me round about. Arise, O LORD;

save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine

enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the

teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the

LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Father what you did for David I pray you do for me to quench my fear. Let your fire utterly and supernaturally consume the spirit of fear that haunts me for God is a consuming fire so that I might rest in the blessed assurance of your grace--- supernaturally blessed in the grace of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. Father consume the spirit of fear that captivates and afflicts my mind in your fire as you consumed the burnt sacrifice for Elijah (I Kings 18 :38, KJV [Fire from heaven: “Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench”]. I will say the Third Prayer of David 33 times every Monday night for seven Monday nights (until the spirit of fear leaves me) at sundown so that your light which I will use a white candle to symbolize purity, truth, spiritual strength, power and realization will shine through the darkness for I find myself using a night light every night instead of a candle but I will not sleep until the candle cease to burn and I finished The Third Prayer of David saying it 33 times.

I will pray the Third prayer of David seven Monday nights at sundown and not let the fire of my white candle go out so that the fire of God's presence might cleanse my thoughts and calm my mind. I will let the Third Psalm of David rock me like a baby in the glory of God. For Job spoke of how sometimes the wicked prosper (21: 17, KJV [“How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! And how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger”]).

Father please forgive my sins for I plead the blood of the lamb who raised me up out of sin and Father please see my virtues for I do love you LORD so cast out the spirit of fear from upon me and loose the snake that binds me and send the snake back to the one that sent it to me so that I may rest in peace in a supernaturally blessed life here on earth. Praise your Name God Almighty. Blessed is the Name of the LORD. I know your spirit will give me the peace of Jesus in blessed rest so that I may endure the night in the sweetness of your embrace like a baby rocked to sleep in the prayer of David in the glory of God in the Name of Jesus in this noon day prayer.
