Prayer-Care-Share: What's Next? Series

We started PRAYER CARE SHARE in late January. Twelve weeks ago!

How many of you are still praying over your bookmark people? How many would say that God has been working in some of the people’s lives?

As a church we have two choices...

1. Let Prayer Care Share be a program and now let it drop.

2. Find creative ways to keep the vision alive.

Here in Cedar Rapids, we are committed as city pastors to changing the DNA of the church here in Cedar Rapids.

PRAYER CARE SHARE...So what’s next?

Micah 6:6-8

With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

The Message..

But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love,

And don’t take yourself too seriously— take God seriously.

CARE-FEST 2006. Our church-wide expression of love in a city-wide initiative of PRAYER-CARE-SHARE.

After three successful seasons of weekly Saturday morning 16th AVE FARMERS MARKETS, we’re excited to announce a big transition for 2006! Effective Summer 2006, our FARMERS MARKET CONSPIRACY OF KINDNESS OUTREACHES will be joining forces with ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES to form the core of our new outreach ministry called...CARE-FEST.
