Summary: We sometimes forget what a great God we serve and we need a refresher course in remembering who He is!

Do you know who you are dealing with? Do you know who you are talking to?

Have you ever heard someone say that or maybe you have said it yourself?

Well maybe we forget who we are talking to or who we are dealing with, when it comes to Jesus.

We sometimes forget what a great God we serve and we need a refresher course in remembering who He is!

Or maybe you have never met Him, please let me introduce Him to you!

Life of Christ-Destiny Picture at Mardels

A beautiful picture of what laid ahead for Jesus.

If I say is eternal, all knowing, all powerful, that He is everywhere, we can’t grasp that picture, we can’t wrap our mind around it, but if we say (As He Did) that He is Light, He is Living Water, He is Bread, He is the Great Shepherd, He is Door, these are things that we can get a mental picture of and picture reminds us of who He is!

Light-John 8:12-Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

We all have tried to walk somewhere in the dark (In the house, with toys on the floor, or furniture that has been moved) and know how difficult that is, He lights the way, so that we don’t stumble in the darkness in this old world!

Ever bought something in a dimly light store and when you got outside, you began to see all the imperfections of what you purchased, as brings light into our life, we began to see all the imperfections of ourselves, but once again that light directs our path for what we were to what God wants us to be!

Water-John 4:13-14-Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Water can refreshes us, it can cleanse us, it can sustain us, this is a picture of what Christ can do in our life!

Bread-John 6:32-35-Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

Bread can give us nutrition, it can gives us fullness, some people can’t have a meal with bread being a part of it, if only Christ would be so essence to our life that we could not even think of living our life without Him!

Shepherd-John 10:11-“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

A shepherd gathers the sheep, he watches over the sheep, he protects the sheep, he gets the sheep from one place to another.

He Gathers Us, He Takes Care Of Us, He Watches Over Us, Delivers Us To Our Destination!

Psalm 23-The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

Door-John 10:7-9-Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came £before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

We use a door for protection, to keep things out, things unwanted, things that will harm us, He only allows things in our life that will benefit us, things that will make stronger, things that will mature us, He is that door that lets in…Blessings, Joy, Peace and Hope!

THE DOOR TO ETERNAL LIFE

The story of a dying man who asked his Christian doctor to tell him something about the place to which he was going. As the doctor fumbled for a reply, he heard a scratching at the door, and he had his answer. 'Do you hear that?"" he asked his patient. 'It's my dog. I left him downstairs, but he has grown impatient, and has come up and hears my voice. He has no notion what is inside this door, but he knows that I am here. Isn't it the same with you? You don't know what lies beyond the Door, but you know that your Master is there.""
