What is Paul's secret why he lived to be the writer of majority of New Testament?

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

Paul's secret: press toward the goal

VII. EXPLICATION:

A. Author: Apostle Paul

B. Date written: 60 - 64 A.D.

C. Purpose: 3-fold purposes:

1. To express Paul's affection for the Philippian believers

2. To thank them for their gift

3. To encourage them to a lifestyle of unity, holiness and joy

D. To whom written: Philippian believers

E. Main theme: JESUS CHRIST

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Considered himself to not taken hold of it

"Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it"

1. The word "consider" or "count" came from the Greek word: "logizomai" meaning "to take an inventory", "estimate", "conclude", "suppose", "lay", "number", "accounted"

It has to do with our "thinking" our "mentality"

a. "Think" about such things

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

b. Whom I "regard"

c. Be "looked" upon

B. Forgetting what is behind

1. The word "forgetting" from Greek word: "epilanthanomai" means "to lose out of mind", "to neglect"

a. "looks back"

b. "leave" and "Not laying again"
