Summary: From the beginning of time, humanity has the tenancy to not accept the responsibility for the words and actions . Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the serpent. Cain ask: AM I MY BROTHER'S KEEPER? We must quit blaming others!

BLOWING SMOKE? WHO TOLD ON ME?
I WAS TEACHING THE 6TH IN WOODWAY, VIRGINIA. The first day of school the teachers were meeting with the principal. When the floor opened for questions, one teacher complained to the principal that her aid was 2 to 3 hours later every morning. The principal said hour long has this been going on. The teacher said at least two years. The teachers said this was not fair every day. The principal agreed. He said this will not be tolerated this year. Sure enough the lady was been 2 to 3 hours late every day. The principal wrote a very nice note that said: IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT SOMEONE IS BEING HOURS LATE DAILY. THIS MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY! The NOT WAS PASSED FRO ROOM TO ROOM. Each person read the note and passed it to the next room. I knew the lady was in the next room. I just tarried by my door. The teacher read the note and passed it to the lady that was always late. In two minutes the aid came out of the room. Fire was coming off her head. She was stomping and swinging her arms. She ran into the office screaming: WHO TOLD ON ME! I DEMAND, I WANT TO KNOW WHO TOLD ON ME? The principal asked her: IS IT TRUE YOU ARE LATE EVERY DAY! She reply: IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. He asked again. She said: YES! He said: THE LATENESS IS NOT FAIR TO THE OTHER STAFF. IT STOPS TODAY! She went down the hall, screaming who told on me? In two weeks the lady lost her job. It did not matter who told on her, SHE MISSED THE WHOLE POINT --- SHE BLEW SMOKE TO HIDE HER TARDINESS. It was a lesson she never corrected.
TEXT:
Romans 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
LET US CALL BLAME THE VICTIM MENTALLY. In the bible they often used two goat… the one goat was called a scape goat. BLAME CAN BE THE CONSEQUENCE AND SYMTOM OF SIN. THE BIBLE IS CLEAR, DON’T BLAME OTHERS. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS AND WORDS.
**BLAME: NOT TAKING OWNERSHIP OF YOUR ACTIONS. To assign negative judgment. Blame is a learned behavior or emotion. to identify who is responsible for a problem, account of holding responsible, find fault, accusation, to assign responsibility for a fault or a wrong, to accuse for being responsible for something bad or wrong, to hold at fault, blame shifting, TO REFUSE TO BE CORRECT.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
*WHY DO PEOPLE USE THE BLAME GAME? HE WHO BLAMES OTHERS FOR HIS ACTIONS HAS A LONG WAY TO GO ON HIS JOURNEY.
1. Why blame? EGO ISSUES? 2. The way to control avoiding responsibility! 3. TO HINDER BEING CORRECTED. 4. To protecting self from NEGATIVE EMOTIONS. 5. To put down another and edify self, superiority! 6. We tend to want to avoid our responsibilities? 7. Blame could be an attempt to CONTROL other people --- 8. MANIPULATION. Blame can come out of pain.
ADAM AND EVE CLEARLY BROKE GOD’S HEART AND HIS RULES. KNOW THIS: AS LONG AS WE BLAME OTHERS WE WILL NEVER REPENT OR CORRECT THE PROBLEMS.
The trap is set. The serpent was subtil. The serpent caught Eve by herself. My opinion is the serpent knew a little friendly conversation would open the doors to the trap.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
