Summary: What you pass on (Your beliefs, your convictions, your passions, your work ethic) to children, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren, hopefully they will pass on to their love ones!

John 11:25-26-Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

What if Jesus is not only taking about the spirit, the soul, but what if He is also referring to our legacy, our heritage, our impact upon the world!

What you pass on (Your beliefs, your convictions, your passions, your work ethic) to children, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren, hopefully they will pass on to their love ones!

Didn’t Matthew, Mark, Luke and John impact the world far beyond their years on this earth?

Are people not still reading and applying the words of Peter?

What about Paul, he not only reached out to the Jews, but reached out to the Gentiles, all the way to Rome, and how many Churches, how many denominations have read and studied the writings of Paul!

Then on a island that is called Patmos, John writes down what he saw and heard…Revelation, the most read book of all of the Bible, not the most understood book of all of the Bible!

Over 2000 years ago, and people are still influenced, are still impacted by people who lived generations and generations before us!

Yes, I believe we can make a difference in this old world long after we are gone, but we have to start….Now!!!

The Lord has made everything for His own purpose.

It’s for His purpose. God has never made anything without a purpose. Every rock has a purpose, every plant, every animal has a purpose and if you’re alive, you have a purpose.

At a church camp, the speaker was talking about how God has a purpose for everything in His creation. He explained that there were reasons for dirt, wind, trees, animals, even cockroaches. One of the children raised his hand to ask a question: "If everything God made has a purpose, why did He make poison ivy?" That really stumped the speaker, till one of the children made a suggestion: "God made poison ivy because He wanted us to know that there are some things we should keep our grubby little hands off."

If you want to know if God still has a purpose for your life, check your heart. If it’s still beating, God still has a purpose for you here on earth.

What if God gave you 20 more years on this old earth, what are you going to do with them?

But I’m 35, 45, 55,65, 75, 85, do you think anything is to hard for God?

We need to focus on making a life not just a living!

Are you making a impact in the world around you?

Are you making a difference in the world around?

When you leave this old world, are going to be remember for a person who talked about doing things or a person who did things!

In 2013, are you willing to be used by God anywhere, at any time?

A man wrote: “I would like to buy $3 worth of God, please—not enough to explode my soul or disturb my sleep, but just enough to equal a cup of warm milk or a snooze in the sunshine.

I don’t want enough of Him to make me love my neighbor or help the needy.

I want ecstasy, not transformation!

I want the warmth of a womb, not a new birth!

I want a pound of the Eternal in a paper sack.

I’d like to buy just $3 worth of God, please.”

But that doesn’t work because God wants all of us, not just some of us!

When you sing; I Surrender All….He wants you to mean it!!
