Papa God!

Genesis 2:8” And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed.”

I read something delightful today from the book of Genesis chapter two, and I thought it would bless you too! May be there’s something in it for each one of us! After God created Adam, ‘Papa God’ got busy doing things one after the other for His son Adam, it was like a home with a new born baby! Immediately He planted a garden in Eden and watch what He does next, ( Genesis 2:9) “out of the ground the LORD God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.” Food was served in a platter for Adam; I love this portion of the Bible, where tress popped out of the ground and observe they were pleasant to the sight and good for food! When God is in your life , in your vision and project, amazing things would pop out like that! Yes, like that! He didn’t stop there, He goes on to make rivers for Adam, Yes, four rivers just for Adam! Pishon, Gihon, Tigris and Euphrates! You just don’t have to worry,’ how would I water this huge garden!’ He is our Provider and Supplier! Are you listening? Mathew Henry said:” That which God plants he will take care to keep watered.”

Not over yet! Adam is offered a job in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.(verse 15) Imagine getting a job without any sweat or interview! Look what fun they had together (God and Adam), Adam named every beast of the field and every bird of the heaven, whatever he named God blessed it. Sweet communion with God and intimacy with Him is the most precious thing in this whole world! Next Adam is blessed with a partner Eve and a helper! Adam lacked nothing! He lived in this paradise of delight - cosseted, sheltered and petted by God! Phew! What a privilege! I saw the colossal love of a loving Father in this chapter today and felt blessed! He cares for you!

We call HIM the UNCHANGING GOD! Don’t we? He has never ever changed, though! Yesterday, today and forever! The God of Genesis is the God of today! He is able to do much more for us and for those who snuggle beside Him like a child!

I am speaking to someone out there! Ask God to open your eyes to see His love in His Word that would give you enormous energy and strength to run the race in this world. Quit replaying your problems and pondering over things that we have no control of; just snuggle close to Him – angst and worries would vanish. It did for me. It would work for you as well. Truck-loads of problems, long pending answers for prayers, heaps of hurts and bruises don’t go with empty thinking and worrying – just get close to Him. He would take care of you!

You are thought of in a special way!
