Summary: • Why do we feel impatient? We get impatient when time and priority involve in a task.
How to develop Patience:
• Be still before the Lord.
- Let the Lord take full control of everything.
- Cast all your cares to God for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
- Let go and let God.
• Accept your current circumstances.
o Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
o Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
o God is in control.
o Trust God’s timing.
• Slow down.
o Proverbs 21:5
The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.
o There is a time for everything.
o Isaiah 60:22 b – When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.
