Summary: God is delightful and wants our lives to experience daily His DELIGHTFULNESS!

Many people find delight in candy, donuts, and even eating lobster. Others find delight in watching their favorite sports teams,; others find delight in watching a baby cry and smile at the same time. Others find delight in taking a nap and sitting on their Lazy-Boy chair. Others find delight in watching their favorite movie, or a TV show. Others find delight in traveling in their car, or plane, or bus, or a train. Others find joy being with family around the fireplace or camping in a tent or trailer. Others find delight in driving fast in a car or boat. What is your favorite delight?

My unique way of looking at it - Having a "Sunny Delight" on an "Afternoon Delight" and living in the town of Arkansaw, called "Delight" and riding on a horse called "Delight" and loving those "Farmers Delights" and playing the game of Delight in the country of Poland. Singing the Country song, "Dixieland Delight!"

Delight is a word that expresses our pure joy in our hearts and makes feel good about ourselves. It can be in a moment, or for a long time in our life. As we grow in our relationship with our Lord and with Jesus Christ as our Lord our life wants to experience a life full of delightfulness. It's called "Delight in the Lord as HE delights in us!

There are many scriptures that speak of His being delightful. Psalms 1:1,2 "Blessed is the man who does not walkin the counsel of the wicked, but His Delight in law of the Lord." Psalms 16:3, "He Delights Himself in the righteous ones." Psalms 35:9 "Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord, and delight in my salvation." Psalms 43:4, "You are my Joy and my Delight. Psalms 119:17, says, "Let your compassion come to me, that I may live, for your law is my delight." Zephaniah 3:17 says, "The Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing."

Delighting ourselves in the Lord is doing his will in our lives by obeying HIM , and serving Him in our daily life. It is reading His Word, it loving people who God loves, everyone!. "I delight to do thy will, O' Lord."

God will give the desire of our hearts as the Bible says as we recognize his DELIGHTFULNESS.
