Summary: Not hard to find the Trinity in the OT.

Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

14 All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.

15 I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous,

16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.

17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

For those who say the Trinity is not in Scripture. The word is not, but the teaching is. This is God speaking. Yet, in verse 16 He says after affirming His deity by saying He was from the beginning He says that the Lord God and His Spirit sent Him.

Hence, you either have three Gods or a triune being. He declares twice in Isaiah that there is no other God so not three individual Gods. (45:22, 46:9)

Indeed, we see the Lord God or Father. The Spirit who is a being by having the attributes of making a cognitive decision to send someone else thus invalidating the teaching that He is just a force to be manipulated. And the one speaking is the Son. A tri-unity or a trinity. The word is our feeble attempt to describe what is taught so do not get hung up on the word or get excited when someone says the word is not in the bible.

Someone once said to not believe the Trinity will make you lose your soul. To try and perfectly understand it you may lose your mind. They are many things about God we will not perfectly understand until we are before Him. Hence, we have faith/trust until that time. Maranatha!
