Nothing But The Blood

Summary: Christianity teaches that redemption comes only through the shedding of innocent blood and Jesus did just that. Every hearer should be challenged to examine their relationship with God.
VI. Nothing but the blood brings strength (Eph. 3.16).
VII. VII. Nothing but the blood brings Transformation (2 Cor. 5.7).
Conclusion: the blood of the Lamb is our only source of spiritual life. With out the inoculation of the shed blood of Jesus Christ we have no life. Spurgeon said it like this, “With out the shedding of blood there is no remission. Every drop of blood which flowed out of Jesus’ body is still in existence, and it is just as it was over 2,000 years ago wiping away the sins of mankind. The blood has been shed – the incorruptible, eternal, divine, sinless, overcoming, precious blood. It availed then, and it avails now, and through all eternity it will never lose its power to bring life.” The question then becomes have you been inoculated wit the life giving blood of the Lamb? Has your sin sick soul been made whole? If not, why Not? If so, are you as determined as Dr. Ruh to inoculate every diseased soul with the blood of the over comer, or are you content to let them die in their sin?
