No Condemnation In Christ Jesus

NO CONDEMNATION

Romans 8:1-16

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. This verse is so very critical because it provides us a guaranteed life filled with NO condemnation. What earthly joy or accomplishment can surpass the knowledge of NO condemnation?

We therefore have two distinct lifestyles from which to choose. We can decide to be in Christ Jesus or we can decide to follow the works of the flesh. The choice is ours, and the Judgment received, on the Day of Judgment, will also be ours.

In Galatians 5:19-21, we read “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Let’s also look at Revelations 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

These are the works of the flesh. These are sins prevalent in America today. These aren’t works of righteousness, these are simply SIN and as SIN they need to be named SIN! For too long adultery and Fornication has been whitewashed as simply “having an affair”. This ONE SIN alone is eroding the foundation of the American family! America cannot continue to stand with adultery destroying its homes.

To compare the Fruit of the Spirit is easy, In Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Let’s examine 1 John 1:6-7, “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Now, going back to Romans 8:2-16, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death,” For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

(5)For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit, For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

(7)Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness but if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

(12)Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. (13)For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: There is NO CONDEMNATION to the Children of God!

To become a Child of God, You need to hear the word of God. (Rom 10:17). You need to Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (Heb 11:6). Repent of your sins and wrong doings. (Luke 13:3)Confess the name of Jesus. (Acts 8:36-37) Be baptized for the remission of your sins. (Acts 2:38)

If you have strayed away from the church, if there is wrong in your life, you need to come back to the Church, through public confession and prayer on your behalf. (James 5:16)
