Jeremiah 31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
One of the mandates of heaven for a child of God is to pu a ceasation and cause an end to evil occurrences.
The Lord has come to bring to an end, patterns in homes and families and lives of believers hence the Bibles says
Colossians 1:13
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Christ has translated us from evil bondages which have bedeviled humanity by reason of the evils of generations past. The Bible says clearly that
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
A new creature is someone separate and distinctively changed and translated, transformed and repositioned from an evil past.
So what does Never Again mean to a child of God?
1. Never again could mean, an end has come to generational barrenness.
God, even at creation, decreed that never again will there be barrenness. He said after creating man
Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
2. Never Again could mean an end has come to untimely deaths
Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
Child of God, are you from a family where incessant unwarranted deaths reign Supreme, the word of the Lord to you today, is clear, never again will there be untimely deaths in your family according to the word of the Lord.
3. Never Again could equally mean, an end to generational curses. Infact, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. The Bible says
Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
4. Never again, could mean also, that poverty has become a thing of the past in your life and destiny. God has the power over poverty. His word tells us that His wish for us is to prosper and be in good health. Hear Him in
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Little wonder God declared that the earth is His and all herein. It is written and it is true when the Bible says
Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
The Lord says to you child of God,
Haggai 2:8-9 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
Yes, to you, child of God, the glory of your latter house shall be greater than the former.
God has the wealth creating power and this he declared in
Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
No doubt, by the reason of giving your life to Jesus, receive that wealth creating power from the Lord in Jesus name.
5. Never Again, means an end to a life of sin and unrighteousness.
Sin has and will always be a reproach. So never again to a life of sin simply means yes to righteousness and progress. It means an end to reproaches according to His Word in
Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
In conclusion, there is always an end to every unpleasant situation in the life of a child of God. Nahum said so when it declared in
Nahum 1:9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
One practical step in realizing the Never Again to reproaches in your life and destiny is to turn to Jesus right now. He has the power to end your reproaches so why delay.
Christ is calling you right now. Hear our heavenly Father:
