More In 2024

Isaiah 54:1-5 TPT

“Rejoice with singing, you barren one! You who have never given birth, burst into a song of joy & shout, you who have never been in labor! For the deserted wife will have more children than the married one,” says Yahweh. “Increase is coming, so enlarge your tent & add extensions to your dwelling. Hold nothing back! Make the tent ropes longer & the pegs stronger. You will increase & spread out in every direction. Your sons & daughters will conquer nations & revitalize desolate cities. Do not fear, for your shame is no more. Do not be embarrassed, for you will not be disgraced. You will forget the inadequacy you felt in your youth & will no longer remember the shame of your widowhood. For your Maker is your husband; His name is Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies! Your Kinsman-Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel! He has the title Mighty God of All the Earth!

It is time to ask yourself, “what do I really believe God can accomplish with my life? What do I really believe He wants to accomplish with my life? How has that been going for me in years gone by?”

I am here to tell you that our God is a God that is Intentional & On Purpose!

Nothing is going to happen by accident.

We are going to grab His Word & declare it is truth!

And because it is truth, I am going to get it in me & begin to see “More in 2024!”

Our focus must change from what it is I want to see, to seeing that my desires come from what He desires.

I. God’s Desires…

That is a good place to start as we begin looking into “More in 2024”.

3 John 1:2 AMP Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed & prosper & be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].

He desires us to grow & prosper in every area of our lives as we grow & prosper spiritually in His purpose.

Matthew 6:33 TPT So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom & His righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

Philippians 4:19 TPT I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through Jesus Christ!

So if I am convinced by faith that God desires to meet my personal needs, then He must want my attention to be focused on that He desires to do through me.

Now it is easy to see why trust is so critical in this walk with our Lord.

Proverbs 3:5-8 NLT Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, & He will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord & turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body & strength for your bones.

II. Alignment with His Purpose…

When trust really connects in this relationship with our Redeemer, a passion begins to develop to do that which blesses & pleases Him.

His departing words to His church (disciples back then) was found in Matthew.

Matthew 28:18-20 NLT Jesus came & told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven & on earth. Therefore, go & make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father & the Son & the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

If we are not careful, we allow the enemy to get us so tied up in the circumstances & affairs of our life right now that we lose focus on the real eternal purpose that we exist on this earth in Jesus.

The “Great Commission” is the whole reason for the cross & resurrection. God saw a lost humanity & put a plan in place to bring healing into our brokenness.

Luke 4:18-19 NLT “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me (you) to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, & that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”

Notice…God supplies all that is necessary for us to carry out His purpose.

• Good news to those poor naturally & spiritually…

• Anointing for captives by the enemy to be released…

• Those who can’t see anything good will have eyes opened to see how good God is…
