Summary: Many times Moms compare themselves to Mary the Mother of Jesus. It is an altruistic standard that they should not be in bondage to.
Mirror Of Mary
1- Manifester of Magnificence (the unattainable standard)
a. the piece d’ résistance
b. the model of motherhood
c. not every mom is everything all the time
e. every mom touches greatness and failure in their lifetime
2- Marathoner of Matrimony
a. Marriage is the start of a family, the best foundation of motherhood
b. marriage comes before motherhood and lasts beyond kids in the home
c. The heavenly Father made sure Mary had a husband
3- Matriarch over Maternity
a. Women are wired for maternity
b. witnessed what goes on during birth (it isn’t pretty)
4- Mentor of Minions
a. the children start out mimicking mom then dad
b. become what they observe and value
c. Oh the stuff we heard as Sunday school teachers
5- Master of Menu
a. all the cooking and food prep can ruin someone for ever
6- Mindful of Mansions
a. taking care of the home
b. Mary had to make a stable work
7- Manipulator of Money
a. stretching the dollar can be an art form
b. the wise men brought great treasure for Jesus, Mary and
Joseph had to manage it.
8- Manager of Materials
a. food, clothing, household items she somehow knows…
b. can you imagine moving when you are about to giver birth?
9- Motor of motivation
a. sometimes we need a motivator she knows when to light the fire
10- Mature over Man
a. as men we still have those “I’m not as good as I once was, but I’m as good once as I ever was” moments.
b. when we feel the need to be wild again she is there to level us
11- Mover of Mountains
a. We can do this attitude
12- Maker of miracles
a. Who else can heal a wound by kissing it?
13- Minimizer of Madness
a. some days it is enough to just make it through
b. crazy hits from all sides and you just survive
14- Mistress of mayhem
a. some days you need to be the wrecking ball
b. cleaning my sisters rooms
15- Moments of Mourning
a. There are the hard days
b. mourning in all its forms should never lead you from the father,
only closer to him
c. Mary was with the 11 (She never stopped being a disciple)

b. In the book “MY FATHER'S FACE," author James Robison tells of a federal prison chaplain who decided to improve morale. The clergyman approached a major greeting card company and asked for a donation of 500 Mother's Day cards, one for each inmate. Spotting a good PR story when they see it, the company agreed. Each inmate enthusiastically filled out a card for his mom, and morale picked up. For Father's Day, the chaplain decided to duplicate his previous success. Again, the greeting card company agreed to donate 500 cards. But this time, the project crashed and burned. Not a single inmate -- not one -- wished to fill out a card for his dad prison ran out of mother’s day cards, couldn’t give out fathers days cards
