VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. GOD is Merciful and Gracious toward our sins

"For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins"

Sins or hamartia in Greek means:

a. that which is done wrong, sin, an offence, a violation of the divine law in thought or in act

b. collectively, the complex or aggregate of sins committed either by a single person or by many

Unrighteousness came from the Greek word: "adikia" meaning:

a. injustice, of a judge

b. unrighteousness of heart and life

c. a deed violating law and justice, act of unrighteousness

Unrighteousness refers to our deeds before we are not yet in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, it refers to our works. It's a noun, a personality that the LORD GOD have already shown grace and mercy thru the Person of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Both sins and unrighteousness are noun, feminine, a person that can only be forgiven and shown mercy by Another Person, that is the Person of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Hebrews 10:16-17 (Amplified Bible)

10:16 This is the agreement (testament, covenant) that I will set up and conclude with them after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their hearts, and I will inscribe them on their minds (on their inmost thoughts and understanding),

10:17 He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more.

Jeremiah 31:33-34 (Amplified Bible)

31:33 But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, says the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their hearts will I write it; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.

31:34 And they will no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they will all know Me [recognize, understand, and be acquainted with Me], from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will [seriously] remember their sin no more.

B. GOD will not remember the deeds of unrighteousness

"and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more."

deeds of unrighteousness or iniquities is "anomia" in the Greek word, meaning:

a. the condition of without law

b. contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

Even deeds of unrighteousness is noun, feminine, so it's not based on what we do or not do, but it's in a person that has done all these even before we're born, and that is the first Adam, so we need the Last Adam to solve the problems of sins.

Ephesians 1:7 (Amplified Bible)

1:7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor,

Colossians 1:14 (Amplified Bible)

1:14 In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.

Jeremiah 50:20 (Amplified Bible)

50:20 In those days and at that time, says the Lord, the iniquity of Israel will be sought, but there will be none, and the sins of Judah [will be sought], but none will be found, for I will pardon those whom I cause to remain as a remnant (the preserved ones who come forth after a long tribulation).

IX. CONCLUSION:

Hebrews 8:12 (Amplified Bible)

8:12 For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.

1 Corinthians 15:45 (Amplified Bible)

15:45 Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life].
