Explore the concept of manifestation, its power, source, and benefits, and how it connects us to our faith in Jesus Christ.
Good morning, church family! We're going to dive into a powerful lesson today that's all about manifestation. We're talking about the power, source, and benefits of it. It's a topic that's been on my heart lately, so I'm excited to share it with you.
As A.W. Tozer once said, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." It's all about what we're manifesting in our thoughts and in our hearts.
Our focus today is coming from the book of Matthew, Chapter 16, Verse 13:
"When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, ‘Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?’"
The Power
Manifestation is the idea that our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes can shape our reality. It's not about wishful thinking or magic, but about aligning our thoughts with the will of God and allowing His power to work through us. This is not a new age concept, but rather a biblical principle that has been practiced by believers for centuries.
Proverbs 23:7: "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." This verse is a clear testament to the power of our thoughts and beliefs. It suggests that our internal world, our thoughts, and beliefs, have a direct impact on our external world, our actions, and circumstances. This is the power of manifestation at work. It's about aligning our thoughts with the truth of God's word and allowing that truth to shape our reality.
Evident in the life of Jesus: Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus manifesting the kingdom of God on earth through His words and actions. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and performed miracles, not by His own power, but by the power of God working through Him. Jesus was able to do these things because He was in perfect alignment with the will of God. His thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes were in complete harmony with God's truth.
For all believers: Jesus said in John 14:12, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." This verse is a promise from Jesus that we too can manifest the kingdom of God on earth. We too can heal the sick, raise the dead, and perform miracles, not by our own power, but by the power of God working through us.
Also about faith: Hebrews 11:1 tells us, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Faith is about believing in the unseen. It's about trusting in God's promises even when we can't see them. This is the power of manifestation at work. It's about believing in God's promises and allowing that belief to shape our reality.
Not about manipulating God or trying to get what we want: It's about aligning our thoughts with the truth of God's word and allowing that truth to shape our reality. It's about surrendering our will to God's will and trusting Him to work in and through us. It's about living in the reality of God's kingdom here on earth.
Pastor, here would be a good place to share a personal story about how the power of manifestation has worked in your life. This could also be about someone you know.
The source of manifestation is not something that is conjured up from our own desires or ambitions, but rather, it is a divine power that comes directly from God ... View this full PRO sermon free with PRO
