MAN HAS TWISTED, CONTORTED, INVERTED, AND OPPOSED ALL GOD’S CREATION – PART 5 – GENESIS CHAPTERS 1 and 2

This message will bring to an end the series looking at the first two chapters of Genesis to see how everything God instituted and created has been set aside by sinful man who has twisted and opposed all that God did. Satan is the great deceiver and his delusion has spread its blanket across mankind to turn men’s hearts and minds from God. we have looked so far at the creation of the universe, evolution, destruction of gender, abortion and other matters. We continue in this next article.

Remember that I am using irony and sarcasm here and there throughout the series. After the Genesis reference the opposition and sarcasm is contained in inverted commas and [[ ]] and italics.

THE ELEVENTH MATTER

{{Genesis 1:31 “God saw all that He had made and behold, IT WAS VERY GOOD, and there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.”}}

[[“NO IT IS NOT GOOD. We reject this notion of God and the bible. It is for old women. Fairy tales. We follow science and listen to our environmental leaders. There is no god anyway. We only need to look at the earth to see how bad it is so god lied to us.”]]

Make no mistake about it all you humanists, socialists, atheists, environmentalists (in the sense of worshipping nature and locking the earth down), Christ-haters and haters of what’s good, a day of reckoning is coming and the wrath of God will burst over this earth. You give God no options. Either repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour or you will meet the wrath of God that is coming soon.

When we examine those first 28 verses in Genesis 1, we see in ALL of them man rejects what God says, and inserts the exact opposite. Everything that is of God this world overturns. It is a serious issue, for God is not mocked. God says, “Let there be light,” but the wicked people on earth say, “Let there be darkness.” The evil of people’s hearts betrays them. He who is not for Christ, is against Him. All scripture is given through inspiration from God, and he who dismisses scripture dismisses God and heads towards hell.

This ends our thoughts in Chapter 1 but there are three more things I wish to do.

[A]. THE TWELFTH MATTER

{{Genesis 2:7 “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and MAN BECAME A LIVING BEING.”}}

[[“That is utter nonsense. Man is not made of dust. He is a complex mix of chemicals developed over millions of years from pond slime and a tiny amoeba that began it all. The people who wrote the bible knew nothing about science. Let us honour science for it is our guiding light.”]]

Listen to the wisdom of fallen man! This is what you get when you dismiss God – [[“In biology, the origin of life is the natural process by which life has arisen from non-living matter, such as simple organic compounds. The prevailing scientific hypothesis is that the transition from non-living to living entities on Earth was not a single event, but a process of increasing complexity involving the formation of a habitable planet.”]] Well, there you have it, and there is a special name for that theorised process of God rejection – it is called “abiogenesis”.

The great problem atheists and mockers have is the very one Paul wrote of in Hebrews – {{Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.” AND Hebrews 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”}}

This chapter contains the expression “By faith” at least 17 times, and that is the secret of understanding and wisdom. The unbeliever will not exercise faith either because he thinks it is stupid and simplistic or he can not accept God to start with. How do we accept Genesis chapter 1? By faith, and by no other means though it is interesting that some science can confirm what is written in Genesis.

Hebrews 11:3 is very interesting. The NASB says the WORLDS were prepared by the word of God. “Universe” is a better translation. The word “prepared” means “It represents the having been created at the same time as a having been placed in a completed or perfect condition. Strongs Concordance adds - “I prepare, perfect, for his (its) full destination or use, bring into its proper condition (whether for the first time, or after a lapse)”
