Summary: Christians red to exercise their power over sin and live in constant fellowship with God Almighty

May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Topic: *LIVING THE RESURRECTED LIFE OF JESUS*

Romans 6:6-14 King James Version (KJV)

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Beloved, living the resurrected life of Christ is living a life where sin rules over you no more and you live to glorify only God.

Beloved the *resurrected life of Christ* is the life whereby you live in Christ to exhibit His power over sin, to live a life where the power of sin is broken and sin is of no effect in your body. This new life is one in which Christ lives in you and all of you is made righteous and you fellowship with God forever.

Beloved, if you live this life, you will reign over sin forever. Your sinful body which was crucified with Christ would remain dead forever and your spirit who is in constant fellowship with God would remain alive to glorify God forever in Christ.

Beloved, you are under grace, the unmerited favour of God not under law. Live your life like a child of grace and not a child of the law. Grace would make you rule over sin and live a glorious life unto God but the law will make sin reign in your body and cause you to still be in bondage serving sin.

*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Jesus exhibited grace and how it works to us. He also taught us how to live under grace and thrive under grace. Follow Jesus to live not by the law but by grace permanently.

Prayer: Daddy please teach me more about your grace and the deep things in it so I live by grace with understanding in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
