Summary: Are we planning and preparing for the eternal future for the next 1000 years – like how are we spending time with Jesus? Are we prepared to live near the throne of God seeing Jesus on the throne?

As humans, we prepare for our future on Earth by saving money, building homes, and so on. Similarly, do we prepare for the eternal future in heaven, like how are we preparing to spend and live eternity with Jesus? Are we preparing to see Jesus’ face to face every second, like the living creatures surrounding the throne, for the next 1000 years? Are we planning and preparing for the eternal future for the next 1000 years – like how are we spending time with Jesus? Are we prepared to live near the throne of God seeing Jesus on the throne?

If you don’t have an experience of seeing Jesus on daily basis here on earth, how will you spend the next 1000 years in eternity with him. If you don’t cherish and enjoy your relationship with Jesus here on earth, how will you cherish your relationship on heaven? Earth is a place where we learn to see the God face to face on a daily basis, whereas heaven is a place where we spend every moment (or second) seeing God face to face.

On earth, we might not fully comprehend his glory, but in heaven we will surely comprehend the greatness of God’s Glory. Here, we see like a mirror the person of God, but in heaven, we see the person of God – directly and in all His full Glory.

In heaven, all veils are removed, all physical barriers are gone, all bodily restrictions are gone, and we can see/ behold God in all his glory. What a privilege and honor, to see God in all His Glory. Are we prepared or preparing for heaven, where we will see God in all of his glory and majesty? Jesus the son of God has taken his rightful seat on God's throne, and the price he paid on the Cross is worthy of all praise and glory.

Jesus the son of God is lifted so high in the entire cosmos that he becomes the single source of light and life in the entire cosmos. The verse Revelation 21:23 “The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light” is fulfilled. Jesus the lamb becomes the light and life that illuminates not only one planet, but the entire cosmos.

Are we prepared to see Jesus in all His Glory? There is so much to learn and know about God and there is little time to know it on earth. Our 100 years on earth are not sufficient to know him completely. We might know only 1 or 2 percent of God on earth, but there is still 98 percent to know about God which we will know in heaven. The more we know God, the more we realize how little we know about him, which creates a desire to know him more. We prepare so much for our future on Earth; do we also prepare for eternity with Jesus?
