"LifeSaver"

A lot of people enjoy boating, fishing, sailing in Florida. Have you ever gone out in a boat? What kind of boat? Did you fish?

Well I have something for all of you today and I am going to let you have it right now. Do you guys know what this is? That’s right, it’s a lifesaver. It’s pretty good candy and it also reminds us of something else.

Scripture: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life.

If so, I am sure that you know what this is. It is a life jacket. A lifejacket. These are used for the same reason. They keep us safe in the water and if you are drowning they can actually save your life. You know that it is very important to put on a life jacket any time you go out in a boat. You never know when an accident might happen or when a storm might come up. If you are thrown from the boat, a life jacket can save your life.

If you are thrown from the boat and you don’t have one, you could lose your life.

Dear Lord, we know that you sent Jesus to die on the cross to save us. We know you are the only one that can save us. We love you. Amen.
