*LET

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com

This lesson came to me in a dream 12/2/2017. I dreamed of this large church, on the right side of the church were pews and people gather sitting there and the Pastor was trying his best to preach on “LET!”. But to the left side of the dream was a grocery store in the church. There was no wall between them. They were giving out samples and people were eating, drinking and having a party. People were walking and shopping, they could care less about the sermon. The Preacher was preaching his heart out, the anointing was trying to flow. As the Preacher was preaching I heard an interruption over the PA: “ PRICE CHECK IN ISLE 10.” The Preacher was being distracted. People were on their cell phones. People were talking and laughing. Others were comparing prices and reading the fine print on the side of the products. I remember from t dream his text was John 14:1 LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED… AND HOW SAD THE FAMILIES WERE GOING TO BE BECAUSE WHAT THEY WERE “LETTING” AND ALLOWING THIS DISUNITY TO OCCUR. The preacher was excited and discouraged at the same time. A few were listening and taking notes. A few were allowing the WORD to IGNITE AND CHANGE AND BRING MIRACLES. The Preacher started walking and a few people from the pews into the grocery store part and a few started following him. As the Preacher walked into the grocery store part and he was sweating and preaching with all that was within him. Those shopping would say: “GOOD PREACHING” then return

to their busyness and sad life styles. Families were fighting and arguing. D-i-v-o-r-c-e was playing loud and clear.

The Preacher was trying to GET THE PEOPLE TO LET GOD… But the cry of most of the crowd was ENTERTAIN US.

His lesson was powerful and anointed directly from God. His tears were real. BUT ONLY A VERY FEW RECEIVED AND LET GOD. I listened to his message and I will try to preach it.

DO WE REALLY UNDERSTAND WE HAVE A DUTY AND CLEAR RESPONSIBILITY TO “LET AND ALLOW GOD?”

LET: in tennis a serve that is not accepted or allowed officially and must be done again.

LET: Something that impedes, an obstruction,

LET: to cause to, make, or to grant, TO GIVE OPPORTUNITY TO OR FAIL TO PERMIT, to assign after bids,

Use in an imperative, TO FREE FROM CONFINEMENT, to make adjustment,

LET IT ALL HANG OUT: to reveal ones true feelings.

LET ONE HAVE IT: vigorous assault,

LET ONE’S HAIR DOWN: to act without self restraint.

LET ER RIP: to release with no restraint.

LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG: to tell a secret.

LET, GOD HAS ASK US TO “LET” HIS WORD WORK IN US…

THERE WAS A QUESTION ASKED: “IS CHURCH REALLY IMPORTANT TO YOU? OR IS SHOPPING? WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU?”

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33 (MSG) Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

The Preacher was speaking in the grocery side of the church when he asked a rather pointed question of his people. He was crying when he spoke: IS CHURCH IMPORTANT TO YOU? IS IT IMPORTANT TO YOUR FAMILY? What are you doing at church? Are you easing your conscience or is it Real GOD WORSHIP? Do you come to church to exit the service? Is that text more important than “LETTING GOD DO HIS WORD?

WILL WE ASK GOD TO ALLOW US TO WORK --- LET ME GOD? OR DO WE JUST WANT TO GO GROCERY SHOPPPING?

Ruth 2:2 (KJV) And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

Are we really seeking GOD’S PERMISSION to “LET US” for our families’ sake?

Is our value system so twisted that our families will spend eternity without God?

GOD I AM SO HUNGRY FOR YOU, “LET ME NOW GO”.

GO! GO-D! GO-SPLEL! Will we “LET GOD?” Let us expect more. DREAM BIG!

IN MANY TEARS: TOO LATE? FATHER, LET ME ASK --- THERE IS A CHANGE OF MESSAGE FROM HELL: “LET ME LET ME GO PREACH, I WILL NOW LET YOU USE ME?

GOD I WILL LET YOU CALL ME TO “LET GOD” WHEN THERE IS NO HOPE?

I FARED SUMPTUOUSLY “LETTING MY WAY.”

There will come a day that the grocery store side of the church will be closed and “THE LET ME SPIRIT” will thrive.
