WILL WE ACCEPT STUBBORNNESS AS A NORM? PEOPLE TEND TO HATE CORRECTION/ DISCIPLLINE. HARDENING NECK CREATES PROBLEMS AND CAN NEVER BE CURED.

Proverbs 29:1 (LB) The man often reproved but refuse to accept criticism will suddenly be broken and never have another chance.

STUBBORNESS IS A TRICK OF THE ENEMY. Don’t be surprised when many will refuse discipline. For people who hate discipline and only get more stubborn.

JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE THE LOUDEST DOES NOT MAKE YOU RIGHT. STAY COOL.

Proverbs 29:8 (LB) Fools start fights everywhere, while wise men try to keep peace.

Proverbs 29: 11 (LB) Fools shout in anger, a wise person holds his temper and keeps his cool.

KEEP YOUR TEMPER, NO ONE ELSE WANTS IT.

Proverbs 29: 23 (LB) A hot-tempered person starts firght and gets into all kinds of trouble.

FEAR AND WORRY ARE DANGEROUS TRAPS.

Proverbs 29: 25 Fear of man is a dangerous trap, but to trust God means safety.

LIBERAL GIVING HAS GOOD REWARDS

Proverbs 28:27 If you give to the poor, your needs will be supplied.

GREED, NEVER CONTENT: THE DESIRE TO HAVE MORE AND MORE, INTENSE AND SELFISH DESIRES.

Proverbs 28: 25 (LB) Greed causes fighting, trusting God leads to prosperity

WILL WE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND OWNERSHIP OF OUR MISTAKES? (Blame, excuse behavior)

Proverbs 28: 13 A man who refuses to admit his mistakes can never be successful.

GOD DOES NOT LISTEN TO THOSE THAT REFUSE TO TRY TO LIVE RIGHT.

Proverbs 28:9 God doesn’t listen to the prayers of those who flout the law.

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

You say God is not hearing me. What’s wrong with you God? There's nothing wrong with God; the wrong is in you. Your stubbornness and wrong motives, your wrongheaded daily lives cause God to not hear.

SIN AND MORAL DECAY WILL DESTROY NATIONS AND PEOPLE.

Proverbs 28:2 (LB) When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily.

YOU WILL NEVER BE ANY BETTER THAN THE FRIENDS YOU HANG WITH…

Proverbs 27: 18 (LB) A mirror reflects a man’s face, but what he is really like is shown by the friends he keeps.

2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

CRANKY, MURMURING, COMPLAINING PEOPLE MAKE THE CHOICES OF THEIR MOODS.

Proverbs 27: 15 A constant dripping on a rainy day and a cranky (person) are uch alike. 16. You can no more stop the complaints than you can stop the wind or hold on to anything with greasy hands.

Proverbs 25: 24 (LB) It is better to live in a corner of an attic than in a beautiful home with a cranking, quarrelsome (person.)

NEVER COSIGN ON LOANS.

Proverbs 27:13 (LB) The world’s poorest credit risk is a man who agrees to pay a stranger’s debt.

WE NEVER KNOW WHAT TOMORROW HOLDS

Proverbs 27:1 (LB) Don’t brag about your plans for tomorrow --- wait and see what happens.

DON’T BE A BRAGGART, BOASTER OF SELF, BIG MOUTH, BIG EGO, SELF-LOVE.

Proverbs 27:2 (LB) Don’t praise yourself, let others do it.

BEWARE OF SETTING TRAPS.

Proverbs 26:27 (LB) The man that sets a trap for others will get caught in it himself.

YOU CAN NEVER HIDE HATRED, SOONER OR LATER IT WILL SHOW.

Proverbs 26: 24-26 (LB) A man with hate in his heart may sound pleasant enough but don’t believe him; for he is cursing you in his heart. Though he pretends to be so kind, his hatred will finally come to light for all to see.

WHERE THERE IS NO WOOD THE FIRE GOES OUT… GOSSIP FUELS THE FIRE.

Proverbs 26: 20 (LB) Fire goes out for the lack of fuel, and tensions disappear when the gossip stops.

SELF-CONTROL AND SELF-DISCIPLINE MUST BE A GOAL.

Proverbs 25: 28 A man without self-control is as a defenseless as a city with broken down walls.

Self-control: To learn to control your emotions in difficult situations. Not impulsive.

Self-discipline: to control your words, feelings and emotions, to have goals, forgive, go to bed, getting up

I WANT TO SKIP THIS ONE? I GET IN TROUBLE ON THIS ONE BUT I CAN’T BYPASS IT. IT IS A GOD PROVERB.

Proverbs 15: 17 (LB) Don’t visit your neighbors too often, or you will outwear your welcome.

THERE IS SAFETY IN GOOD GOD COUNSEL AND GODLY ADVICE.

Proverbs 25: 11 (LB) Timely advice is as lovely as gold apples in a silver basket.

BE A HOT HEAD.

To act and not think of consequences, To be agitated, Suddenly, Easily angered, tends to be violent.
