JUST DO IT!

PHILIPPIANS 4:9

The apostle Paul was a very intelligent and anointed man , that spent much of himself teaching and preaching to the churches. He had taught them many things such as about justification and of faith, hope, and of prayer . Self denial, and sacrifice, he taught them of gifts of the spirit, and of soul winning but all of this comes to a conclusion in v.9 Those things which you have both learned, and received and heard, and seen in me Do! It is the same for you and I today , we can look into the Holy scriptures today and we can find that the scripture teaches us about prayer, and fasting , and we can find teachings of spiritual gifs, and healing and deliverance power. We can read the gospel and find the greatest commandment Love the Lord with all of thy mind, soul, and strength , and love thy neighbor as thyself. We can find were the bible teaches to be soul winners and go out into the highways and the hedges and compel them to come in but it all comes down to the Do! Today my friend all the teaching, and preaching , the bibles study and the revival and fellowship meetings are all in vain except you JUST DO IT!

James 1:22- 27

James says be not only hearers of the word but doers also . For any man that hears the word only and is not a doer he is like somebody that looks in a mirror and sees the problem or blemish and then just walks away without doing anything about it. He gives us an example in v. 26 he says, any man that seems to be religious and bridle not his tongue deceives his own heart and his religion is in vain. Then he goes on to say that pure and undefiled religion before God is to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction and to keep unspotted from the world. So we must not only look into the word or the mirror and see problem but we must conform ourselves to the word and the image of Christ being effected and effective in the world. That’s the problem a lot of times with Pentecost we got plenty of hearers but very few doers. Plenty that will come to the church house and all the religious meetings but very few that will be a part and contribute themselves and be effected and effective Many hearers and very few

Doers.

Just as Christ we must become the expressed image of the word that we are reading. Salvation is not in the

word but in the DO! Do not only read it and hear it but DO IT!

2 TIM 3:1-7

Last days men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful and unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high minded, and lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. And all along setting in the church house calling themselves Christians and having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. Yea that is right these are not sinners that have never heard of Jesus Christ but these are people setting on the pew proclaiming salvation but denying the power thereof. The bible says they are ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of truth . Oh yea they are having revival meetings and church services probably even speaking in other tongues but never , never DOING. Always looking in the word but never fixing the problem just walking away procrastinating and forgetting time and time again what manner of man they are. The devil don’t care if you go to church just don’t be a doer.

James 2:14-26

Some may say that they have a relationship with God but you would never know by the life they live they continually are involved in religious activities but are not doing the DO!

They quote scripture “Judge not least ye be judge” the only scripture they know other than John 3:16 all along living like the devil”.

V. 17 says “ faith alone is dead

V.14 says “ your faith cannot save or minister to the sinner but the works or the expression of your faith can help save.

Example: v. 15-16

If one come to you and is naked and in need of food. Your faith is a good thing but alone it will not help him. You say depart in peace and be ye warmed and filled and not giving those things in which he needs. What he is in need of is the DO an expression of you faith.

V.18 says show me your faith by your words and I will show you my faith by my works or my DO. What this world needs is to not hear about your faith but they need to see your faith and that is why he said show me by your words and I will show you by my works.
