Summary: There are no appeals for your verdict.

REVELATION 20: 11-15

Judgment is at your door.

Verse 12: And I saw the dead, small and great standing before God, and books were opened.

Judgment. Our world today is fascinated by judgment. Judgment is even considered to be entertainment. Judgment is something we all will have to endure sooner or later. The Bible says that it’s appointed unto men once to die, after that the judgment.

The judgment will be fair.

God is a judge who does not take bribes and is not influenced by anyone.

The judgment will be final, no appeals.

What are we going to be judged upon? Our works.

Galatians 5:19 says: Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are:

Your sexual sins:

adultery: voluntary sexual relations between a married person and somebody other than his or her spouse

fornication: sexual intercourse between two consenting adults who are not married to each other. Ladies you ought to value yourself. If a man wants to lay down with you, he ought to give you his last name! I’ve heard the expression: Why buy the cow when you can get the milk free? Well I like to relate that in today’s’ generation; Why buy a house when he doesn’t have to pay the rent where he‘s living at?.

Uncleanness: dirty: dirty or in sanitary, sinful, especially involving or guilty of committing a sexual sin. Not pure according to religious rules or rituals

Lewdness: indecent: sexual in an offensive way, unbridled lust, sins in broad daylight with arrogance and contempt.

Sins connected with pagan religion:

Idolatry: extreme admiration: excessive admiration or love shown for somebody or something.

Sorcery: witchcraft: the supposed use of magic. Many of you even let your children watch Harry Potter, and the children are literary chatting.

Sins of temper:

hatred, intense hostility: a feeling of intense hostility towards somebody or something Also 1John 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer.

Contentions: assertion in argument: an opinion or claim stated in the course of an argument It is my contention that the plan was bound to fail.

disagreement: angry disagreement between people a lot of contention over the quality of the goods

rivalry: competition between rivals or opponents fierce contention for the title

Jealousies: an instance of feeling jealous.

outbursts of wrath: sudden display of anger, often with a desire for revenge. selfish ambitions, concerned with your own interests, needs, and wishes while ignoring those of others. As long as you get yours, forget everybody else’s needs.

Dissensions: lack of consensus: disagreement or difference of opinion. The Pastor said this, but I don’t believe it, God knows my heart. It don’t take all that to be saved.

2Timothy 4:3&4 says; For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables.

Heresies: an opinion or belief that contradicts established religious teaching, especially one that is officially condemned by a religious authority. I don’t believe you have to go to church every Sunday. Hebrews 10:25; says, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching. Saints you ought to be running to Church, and be present everytime the doors are opened.

Envy: wanting what somebody else has: the resentful or unhappy feeling of wanting somebody else’s success, good fortune, qualities, or possessions. Some of you don’t want to work, but you want everyone to give you something. I know someone who took a buy-out from a company and everyone came to that person expecting to receive a part of their settlement. They didn’t ask to borrow any money, but asked that person to give them some money. Get a job!!

Murders: crime of killing somebody. Do you know can kill someone’s Faith by your actions?

Sins of drunkenness

Drunkenness: affected by alcohol: drunk or frequently drunk. I even heard someone say, its ok to drink, Jesus drunk wine. And I politely respond with; show me anywhere in the Bible where it says Jesus was drunk?

Revelries: noisy celebrating: lively enjoyment or celebration, usually involving eating, drinking, dancing, and noise. Galatians 5: 21 says, and the like: of which I tell you beforehand, just as I told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Who is going to judge us? Jesus

1) John 5:22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son.

2) 2 Timothy 4:1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom.
