Judges Justly

Summary: To begin with, you must trust your God with all that happens in your life without raising your finger at Him.
Judges justly
1 Peter 2:23 “When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.”
I pray this devotion resonates very strongly and touches every person who reads. Hallelujah!
To begin with, you must trust your God with all that happens in your life without raising your finger at Him. We live in a rebellious era where people at the drop of a hat, raise their voice and ask, ‘where is your God when this happened, where was He’ and so on. Stay away from such negativity and listen to me today. Would like to share an incident from our Abide School, two brothers study in our school who are tribal people who moved to the city for a living. Both the boys don’t study well but we compassionately handle them; however, last year their marks were very low, when I questioned the family, the elder sister who is a little educated asked me,” can we see the examination answer sheet of my brothers?’ She did not trust me with the marks, she wanted to examine it for herself, she felt it might be biased but the fact is the marks received by the brothers were purely grace because they wrote very badly. This is how most of us behave with our Lord, when things don’t work out as expected, we turn to God and ask Him, ‘did I not do well in this area, did I not pray, tithe and fast then why did you do this to me?? Show me my examination answer sheet is the attitude of most of us. Are you listening?
Friend, everything is made note of by God, He has a Book of Remembrance and our deeds are written, nothing is forgotten or overlooked. God is watching our walk, talk and our deeds and we will be rewarded only according to our life, read: Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.” Observe the words, “ What they had done as recorded in the books!
Today I have to run, chase and hunt people to attend morning prayers, church or weekday meetings, believers do not run to church on their own. Manifold excuses are prepared and kept in advance to tell me when I call them; however, they very meticulously plan out their holidays, at times also by giving me false excuses. God watches everything! One particular family of 3 children in our Abide School are superb students in character and are rank holders as well, recently the class 5 student told me that she joins with her dad and mom for the 5am zoom prayer that is being held in their church. Now I knew the reason for the blessings on the family. Be connected with God, church and believers!
“The Rock, His work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.” (Deuteronomy 32:4).
