Joy From Jesus

John 16:20-22 King James Version (KJV)

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Beloved, we face many challenges, troubles, tribulations, trials, temptations, attacks, disappointments etc etc every now and then as Christians and we lament and sorrow each time.

The enemy is out there like a lion looking for whom to devour. His target is to destroy every Christian or put us in a state where we will fall away from Christ or better still eliminate us so we don't win others over to Jesus.

Christians go through a lot of difficult moments and these moments are moments of pain like the pains of a woman in labour.

But just like the woman after delivery is filled with joy because of the new born man and she forgets all her pain before the birth so shall your joy come and you will forget all the pains in the past.

For your sorrows shall turn into joy when Jesus comes again. This joy is permanent, never to be affected by any man or demonic force and no one can take it from us.

The second coming of Jesus would bring an end to all the sufferings and challenges Christians go through day in day out. The second coming of Jesus would put an inexplicable joy in the hearts of Christians and this joy shall be forever.

We get a taste of this joy whenever we are victorious in a situation or issue or whenever the solution to a problem comes alive, it is implemented and it works perfectly.

The joy you have now is just a taste of what is coming into our hearts when we see Jesus again.

Beloved *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. We are eagerly awaiting the second coming of Jesus so our sorrows would be turned into joy forever.

As we wait we need to win souls for Him. We need to do the needful so that His will shall be fulfilled and His Kingdom would be established in us and with us now and forever.

Prayer: Father please strengthen me to win souls for Jesus as I await His second coming. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
