Jezebel

Three teenaged children from the same family had joined our Abide Angel Home and our Abide School who were excellently talented and intelligent but not many knew the eerie, evil Jezebel spirits that were hidden inside them. I could feel disturbance in the air and activities of the other students also slowly started to change, did we not read in the Bible, “Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough?”(1 Corinthians 5:6) They had the best smile on the surface of their face with ugliness inside their hearts, I did all I can to save those children, one day God spoke to me through the below scripture: Proverbs 22:10 Drive out the scoffer, and contention will go out, Even strife and dishonor will cease.” I am directly speaking to someone out there, ‘drive out the scoffer in your life so that you have peace’, drive out the illegal relationships, drive out all corrupted practices in your life, drive out behaviors that contrast your walk with God….

1 Corinthians 5:7”Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump….”

D) TORMENTING SPIRIT: 1 Kings 19:3”Elijah was afraid and arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.”

I tell you, if I don’t write my own experience with this evil spirit then this article would not be rooted in integrity. It is not that I am a superwoman with wings and I had mastered it all, never, I have understood one thing and that is, we should never underestimate the Jezebel spirit. Only through deep fasting and prayer can you come out victoriously! After an anointed crusade or seminar, where you had operated under the deep anointing of the Holy Spirit, don’t expect to be spared……be equipped for war! Unexpectedly things would turn up against you, arguments would break out that very evening after the glorious meeting…! I would have this strong feeling to just flee away from everything…this is scary isn’t it? Mother of two children….this thought is atrocious; however, God saved me from catastrophe and I now write this piece so that many get encouraged. You are not alone in this battle my friend! Stand and win!

The Jezebel spirit wants to see you run away from marriage, run away from ministry, run away from your calling, run away from your responsibility, run away from your destiny, run away from your vision, run away from your family, home and church…….I write this message for those of you who feel this way.. I am not here to write a few points quoting scriptures, but I am here to give you my life testimony and encourage you to stay firm and not run away. Are you listening?

Look at the above scripture, we find Elijah afraid of Jezebel! Elijah? The prophet who boldly faced king Ahab and the queen Jezebel was now afraid and running for his life, this is incredible. The Bible says that he ran for his life, did he even care for his life earlier? Why did this happen? That’s the scare, fear and panic the Jezebel spirit spews over the servants of God, God’s children and believers, if we are not careful, we would fall prey! Fear is the weapon the enemy uses to torment the believers, are you there?
