Contributed by Matthew Cox on Jan 17, 2017 (message contributor)
Summary: In this sermon we will look at the shortest Scripture in the Bible.
The shortest scripture in the Bible is found in the book of John, chapter 11, verse number 35.
It is there that we find the words Jesus wept. This is a Scripture that our parents or caregivers probably taught us when we were a child.
Why did Jesus weep? Jesus wept because the misery that sin had caused humankind.
Remember this, Jesus Christ had not been to the cross to die for the sins of the world, when Lazarus' two sisters called for him (Jesus) to come and heal their brother.
