5. Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem was joyful for his followers, it was joyful for Jesus as well, His entry was also filled with jeopardy. We are the benefactors because of His entrance into Jerusalem:

• Jerusalem is joyful for his followers because we encounter John 3:16 For God so loved the world

• Jerusalem is joyful for his followers because here is where we become right before God “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

• Jerusalem is joyful for his followers because we receive the greatest gift offered Romans says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

• Jerusalem is joyful for the followers if we will just believe: Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”
