Medicine taste horrible!

James 1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

John 19:28 After this, Jesus, knowing[a] that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”

29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.

30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Jesus said, IT IS FINISHED!

Healing and Peace.

At the Cross where I first saw the light and the burdens of my soul rolled away.

The same power that brings salvation that brings us healing…

2 Corinthians 5:7 We walk by faith not by sight.

Romans 3:2… let God be true but every man a liar.

Beyond your circumstance…pain… shortcomings God is faithful

Paid in Full

Redeemed –

What is the curse of sin? To be at odds with God. Hardship, sickness, judgement.

He paid it in full.

Psalm 34”19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

When you don’t feel it.. See it… HIS WORD SAYS IT IS FINISHED…. THERE’s JOY, PEACE, PROSPERITY.

IT IS FINISHED…

Colossians 2:14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Left them with nothing to fight.. nothing to use.. nothing to fight with…

When? At Calvary!

Isaiah 53: 4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

He bore my sorrows, bore my pain, bore my hurt, bore my sickness.

IT IS FINISHED.

ITS DONE!

1 John3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

I came to destroy the works of the devil. Did HE do it? Did He do it!

It’s DONE! DONE! DONE!

HE HAS NO WEAKNESSES

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

It’s not something that needs to happen later, or next week. IT’S already done!

The devil had blinded us. Lied to us! Deceived us!

Why did He do it?

FOR GOD…. SO LOVED….

DISARMED THE POWER OF SATAN!

What activates the promises of God – FAITH!

We aren’t lacking an all-powerful God, We are lacking FAITH!

Ephesians 3:2 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

That means you don’t deserve it but HE gives it to us anyway.

Not about what you feel – or think you know – It’s about HIM and what HE said.

Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?

Heart – Don’t follow your heart – follow the Word!

Luke 18:1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,

2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man.

3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’

4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,

5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”

6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said.

7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?

8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
