It's Only A Matter Of Time

TEXT: Exodus 9:5

"And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land."

TIMES AND SEASONS

Are you afraid of the dark night? Many people are, but one thing we are sure of in life is that the dark night will always give way to the light of the day. The sun will surely rise; it's only a matter of time. Time continues to run even when all else stops. Every problem in life has an expiry date. "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" (Ps 30:5). Your morning of joy has come in Jesus name.

God has set the times and seasons, nothing and nobody can stop it, except God. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" (Eccles 3:1). God has appointed a set time for everything. His time is different from our time and he does things in his own time. Exodus 9:5 says:

"And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land." There is a time appointed for your turnaround and it will surely come in Jesus name.

A SET TIME FOR GOD'S FAVOUR

Ps 102:13 tells us "Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come." God, by his mercy, can bring forward your appointed time. When the Holy Spirit or the Lord Jesus intercedes on your behalf, things can change suddenly for you. Romans 9:16 (NLT) says: "...it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it." The Lord, by his mercy, will set his time to favour you now in Jesus name.

The mercy of God picked out the man at the pool of Bethsaida after 38 years of infirmity and healed him. Sarah was blessed with a child at the age of 90. The mercy of God released Lazarus from the grip of death after 4 days in the grave. The presence of God in Obededom's home turned his fortune around for good in three months. The mercy of God will choose you for a sudden turnaround in Jesus name. It's only a matter of time, your prayers will be answered in Jesus name.

SET TIMES FOR SALVATION AND JUDGMENT

God has also set a time for your salvation and that time is today.

2 Cor 6:2 (NLT) says: "For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.”Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation." Jesus died to save and if you accept today, you shall be saved.

It is so urgent you accept Jesus today because God has set a time for the world to be judged.

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Heb 9:27). The time appointed is in God's control. Job 34:23 (NLT) says: "We don’t set the time when we will come before God in judgment." The judgement of God is coming, it's only a matter of time. Acts 1:7 also tells us: “...The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know." The only thing you need to know is the time is at hand for God to judge the world and he has set today as the day of your salvation. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour today

PRAYER:

O Lord my God, hear my cry TODAY, by your mercy; set your time to favour me NOW. Visit me TODAY in the mighty name of Jesus.
