To show that spiritual things/matter (things that are invisible) outweighs physical things.

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You taught me to set my eyes, my whole attention only to You, the Author, Finisher, Perfecter, Leader and Source of my faith, bringing my faith to maturity and perfection. You are my Secret Place.

Hebrews 12:2 (Amplified Bible)

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

Genesis 25:28 (Amplified Bible)

And Isaac loved [and was partial to] Esau, because he ate of Esau’s game; but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Genesis 25:28 (King James Version)

And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

A Isaac loved Esau because of physical meat

"And Isaac loved [and was partial to] Esau, because he ate of Esau’s game;"

Genesis 27:4 (Amplified Bible)

And prepare me appetizing meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat of it, [preparatory] to giving you my blessing [as my firstborn] before I die.

Genesis 27:19 (Amplified Bible)

And Jacob said to his father, I am Esau your firstborn; I have done what you told me to do. Now sit up and eat of my game, so that you may proceed to bless me.

Genesis 27:25 (Amplified Bible)

Then [Isaac] said, Bring it to me and I will eat of my son’s game, that I may bless you. He brought it to him and he ate; and he brought him wine and he drank.

Genesis 27:31 (Amplified Bible)

Esau had also prepared savory food and brought it to his father and said to him, Let my father arise and eat of his son’s game, that you may bless me.

Isaac is not that spiritual compared to her wife Rebekah who is more spiritual than him. Prioritize spiritual things over physical things. Prioritize the kingdom of GOD compared to the things of these earth.

John 6:33-35 (Amplified Bible)

For the Bread of God is He Who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.

Then they said to Him, Lord, give us this bread always (all the time)!

Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).

Matthew 6:33 (Amplified Bible)

But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

Proverbs 9:2 (Amplified Bible)

She has killed her beasts, she has mixed her [spiritual] wine; she has also set her table.

Matthew 22:2-4 (Amplified Bible)

The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son

And sent his servants to summon those who had been invited to the wedding banquet, but they refused to come.

Again he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my banquet; my bullocks and my fat calves are killed, and everything is prepared; come to the wedding feast.
