Isaac is not that spiritual compared to her wife Rebekah who is more spiritual than him. Prioritize spiritual things over physical things. Prioritize the kingdom of GOD compared to the things of these earth.

B. Rebekah loved Jacob because of spiritual benefits

I prefer Rebekah because she heard what GOD said about Jacob.

And Isaac prayed much to the Lord for his wife because she was unable to bear children; and the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife became pregnant.
[Two] children struggled together within her; and she said, If it is so [that the Lord has heard our prayer], why am I like this? And she went to inquire of the Lord.
The Lord said to her, [The founders of] two nations are in your womb, and the separation of two peoples has begun in your body; the one people shall be stronger than the other, and the elder shall serve the younger.
All Isaac can do is pray too much, while Rebekah enjoyed what she has not prayed for, something to think about, because Rebekah is always connected to the LORD, she's abiding in the Vine, she never left GOD's Presence one tiny minute.
John 15:4-5 (Amplified Bible)
Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.
