I’m On My Way Somewhere

Jonah 1:17 - 2: 1-7

17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

He wants to address the chosen outside the presence of the called – the things of the chosen are for the chosen

Many are called and few are chosen

Jonah 2:1 – After Jonah Prays to the Lord his God from hell – Prayer is a two way communication – God has to take you through so much to get you to talk.

He speaks of the situation in which the lord had arranged (Prepared)

2:2 – I Cried – Elevevated his praise – because of his affliction – Prodical Son Luke 15:8

Matt 6:8 for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

He Answered – (Me-You) – Though disobedient he was a true believer of God

Sent his strength back

Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

2:3 Cast into the Deep - Deeper – Into the heart of the Sea–Deeper – Surrounded by a Flood - Overwhelmed

The disturb currents of the ocean kept moving til Jonah spoke. God the source of suffering

2:4 What Jonah regarded as a burden, and desired to escape. He had turned his back on God; so God turned His back on him, making his sin his punishment.

Where I was is not where I am

Where I am is still not where I am going

But where I am is proof that I didn’t stay where I was.

Where I am is also an indication that I have the abilility to go further.

I Am On My Way Somehere

This indicates that all chosen are under God’s protection, but there is always confusion between going and arriving.

Hebrews 12:2 2 Looking unto Jesus the authora and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

God will take you through a little phenominal things to let evryone else know that he’s with you.

2:7 For a period of time troubles shut out hope; but faith revives it when you remember the Lord.

Your Destiny is not an easy journey
