Summary: A big part of finding a solution is to clearly define what the problem is. We cannot allow the blind to lead the blind. There is a diitch out there.

CAUSE? LET THE BLIND LEAD THE WAY?

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com (YouTube: Wade Hughes)

I AM TOLD MANY BIRDS CAN’T FLY IF THEIR WING IS BROKEN. OF THE FEW THHAT CAN FLY WITH BROKEN WINGS WILL FLY IN A CIRCULAR PATTERNS.

WITHOUT A CAUSE? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN DIAGNOSIS AND PROGNOSIS? WHAT IS CAUSING THIS? DO WE KNOW WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO? WHY DON’T WE DO WHAT WE DON’T DO?

*Diagnosis: To identify the problem, to see the cause or injury based on signs.

*Prognosis: forecast a cure, a way to treat, chance of recovery, prediction.

It is probably easier to treat the problem than to identify the cause. It is not enough to grow a garden. We must learn to hate weeds. My dad had me pull weeds from the beans. Do you know at certain times morning glories look a lot like beans? Oh, no! Barney Fife says: NIP IT, NIP IT IN THE BUD…

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

DON’T WORRY! THERE ARE TIMES WE NEED TO REALIZE WHAT IS GOING ON AND IGNORE… IN THE END THE PIT WILL REVEAL WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON… my friend there are ditches ahead…

Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Blind guides? We are facing many problems and obstacles We need safety! We need discernment and spiritual insight. The blind leading the blind is a METAPHOR… Warning us of ignorance and a lack of understanding. Are we slow hearing and reacting?

Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Hebrews 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

DO I CARRY THE STINK? I read a story that makes a valid point. See if you agree.

There was an old man that had a large handle bar moustache. The old man would always take a nap after lunch time. The old man would leave the kitchen and go to his recliner in the front room. He would lay back and take a nap. One day the grandson was at the house and tried to wake up his Grandpa. He would not wake up. The boy was looking in the refrigerator and smelled a foul odor. It was LIMBURGER CHEESE. The lad got some of the stingy limburger chess on his fingers. The boy got the bright idea. He would rub the limburger cheese in his Grandpa’s handle bar moustache as he slept in the recliner. The boy got to playing and forgot about the trick he played on Grandpa. Grandpa woke up and there was a strong odor he smelled. Grandpa said: WOW, IT STINKS IN THE FRONT ROOM. So Grandpa went in the kitchen to get some milk. Grandpa noticed the strong odor in the kitchen. He then said: WOW, THE KITCHEN STINKS SO BAD. So Grandpa said: I will go out on the porch and sit in the swing. So he went out the door and was sitting in the swing. Grandpa was swinging when he noticed the foul odor. He said: WOW, THAT IS A TERRIBLE ODOR OUT HERE. It stinks on the porch. So Grandpa decide to take a walk for his exercise. Grandpa was about a half a mile down the road and he stopped to rest. Then Grandpa said: The bad smell was in the front room. He said the kitchen stunk so bad. Then while I was sitting on the porch there was a terrible stink there. Now I am a long way from the house: I STILL SMELL THAT TERRIBLE ODOR. GRANDPA SAID: I THINK THE WHOLE WORLD STINKS.

WHAT GRANDPA DIDNOT REALIZE WAS THE FRONT ROOM DID NOT STINK? The kitchen did not stink? The front porch did not stink? The whole world did not stink? The foul odor was in his handle bar moustache. He was carrying the stink with him. Might I suggest it is easy to carry the stink of the world around with us? The problem of the heart is the heart of the problem. We will carry the stink everywhere we go unless we correct the problem.

I AM LOOKING FOR MY DUKE BOYS CAR?

When my oldest son was small the DUKES OF HAZARD was a hit. He loved the General Lee. Linda ran to town. Marty came to me and asked where was his General Lee? I said: IT IS RIGHT OVER THERE? He said: WHERE? I said: OVER THERE! He said: I can’t see it. I look at my son. He had his eyes closed, and his hands reaching out like he was feeling for the car. Of course, he could not see the General Lee. He had his eyes closed.
