VIII. MAIN BODY:

Psalms 58:10 (Amplified Bible)

The [unyieldingly] righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.

Psalms 58:10 (New King James Version)

The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,

A. The righteous shall rejoice when he sees GOD'S vengeance.

"The [unyieldingly] righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance;"

Psalms 52:6 (Amplified Bible)

The [uncompromisingly] righteous also shall see [it] and be in reverent fear and awe, but about you they will [scoffingly] laugh, saying,

Psalms 64:10 (Amplified Bible)

The [uncompromisingly] righteous shall be glad in the Lord and shall trust and take refuge in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory and offer praise.

Psalms 68:1-3 (Amplified Bible)

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. A song. GOD IS [already] beginning to arise, and His enemies to scatter; let them also who hate Him flee before Him!

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish before the presence of God.

But let the [uncompromisingly] righteous be glad; let them be in high spirits and glory before God, yes, let them [jubilantly] rejoice!

GOD's vengeance is what we're waiting for as part of our reward, those who have humiliated and persecuted will never ran away unharmed from GOD. That is His Promise to us with Him is our reward and He Himself is our reward.

B. The righteous will bath his feet in the blood of the wicked.

"he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked."

Revelation 14:20 (Amplified Bible)

And [the grapes in] the winepress were trodden outside the city, and blood poured from the winepress, [reaching] as high as horses’ bridles, for a distance of 1,600 stadia (about 200 miles).

Job 29:6 (Amplified Bible)

When my steps [through rich pasturage] were washed with butter and the rock poured out for me streams of oil!

Psalms 68:22-23 (Amplified Bible)

The Lord said, I will bring back [your enemies] from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the [Red] Sea,

That you may crush them, dipping your foot in blood, that the tongues of your dogs may have their share from the foe.

Either it's our feet that we washed in the blood of the enemies or JESUS's feet, makes no differencce at all, because we are representatives of CHRIST here on earth.

2 Corinthians 5:20 (Amplified Bible)

So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.

These are symbolical acts meaning that you have totally defeated your enemies. I remembered Joshua doing this to his commanders. We are GOD'S commanders here on earth. Though washing our feet on the blood of the enemies is much more stronger proof because they are already dead when their blood can be used as something to wash another. Since Joshua is a type of CHRIST JESUS.

Joshua 10:24 (Amplified Bible)

When they brought out those kings to Joshua, [he] called for all the Israelites and told the commanders of the men of war who went with him, Come, put your feet on the necks of these kings. And they came and put their feet on the [kings’] necks.

I am prone to believe that this will the same situation when CHRIST JESUS our LORD will come back to judge all His enemies and He will use our feet to bring judgment and total defeat on our enemies. Our enemies are His enemies as well.
