Understanding the 'I AM' Statement

So, what's Jesus saying here? He's basically saying He's like a VIP pass. You know, like those special tickets you get at concerts or theme parks that let you skip the lines and get the best seats? Jesus is saying He's our VIP pass to God.

Imagine you're at a concert, but you're stuck outside because you don't have a ticket. You can hear the music, see the lights, but you can't get in. Then, someone hands you a VIP pass. Suddenly, you're not just in the concert, you're in the front row! That's what Jesus is like. We're stuck outside, separated from God because of our mistakes and bad choices. But Jesus is our VIP pass, our door, that gets us in.

Applying the Message

1. Jesus invites everyone: Jesus doesn't care about your past mistakes or how many times you've messed up. He's inviting you to step through Him, the door, and start a new life with God.

2. Faith is key: To use this VIP pass, you gotta have faith. Not just believing God exists, but trusting Him with your life. It's like trusting that the VIP pass will get you into the concert.

3. Jesus promises salvation: This isn't just about getting into heaven. It's about living a better, fuller life right now. When we step through Jesus, we find freedom, peace, and real joy.

So, how do we apply this? Simple. Trust Jesus. He's your VIP pass. Use it. Step through Him into a new life with God. And then, share your pass. Show others how they can have a VIP pass too.
