Contributed by Rodney Johnson Sr., on Aug 17, 2004 (message contributor)
Summary: This sermon teaches the servants of God how to sustain in ministry.
Intro. The Apostle Paul reminds every servant of God that looking to Jesus is key to sustaining momentum in ministry.
Momentum killers:
wordless people (Wordless and wordless)
lethargic spirits
fault finding critics
luke-warm people
self-centered people
joyless people
inconsistent people
Consider the following:
1. Past Wittnesses
2. Present Weight.
3. Perpetual Willingness.
4. Perfect Winner. (Jesus)
5. Prevailing Wisdom.
6. Pressing Warfare.
7. Preeminent Watchman.
Conclusion: Successful ministry is contingent on our looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
