How Much Longer Lord?

Mal 3:6 MSG

6-7"I am God— yes, I Am. I haven't changed. And because I haven't changed, you, the descendants of Jacob, haven't been destroyed.

A lot of people like to think that God changes with time, but God is the only consistent that we have in this world and the only consistent that we can measure of the things by.

He never changes, he always remains the same day in day out.

James 1:17 NKJ

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Often times, we like to think that we're the ones responsible for the good and the gifts that are placed in our life.

But the fact is, that it's God the father that all the good gifts and every perfect gift is brought down to us from Him.

There is no variation..everything good in our lives, God is responsible for!

Num 23:19 NKJ

19 “God is not a man, that He should lie,

Nor a son of man, that He should repent.

Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Sometimes when we have a need..and we feel like it's taking to long to happen..

and since it's not happening on our time table, in the time frame we think it should be taking place.

We have the tendency to get antsy and impatience...

We live in the now..everything's now, now ,now!

Instant coffee, instant messaging, instantaneous news from around the world as it happens..

We want to know it now...Don't we?

Living in the now..is nothing new to God, cause you see..God lives in the everywhere..by that I mean past, the now and the future!

He is omnipresent..He lives in all places at all times

Father knows best..and it's especially true

When it's our Heavenly Father.

When we ask for His help..He hears our request and He takes the request seriously!

Sometimes when it takes longer than we like..we may think He doesn't..

But nothing could be farther from the truth.

We like to think, that it's always a straight line between

point A and point B..

But when we ask for His help..we should have the faith and the trust

in His infinite wisdom..

that He is going to take the best and most timely route for everyone involved in the equation..Amen?

Did you know? That Others are also blessed on your way to your blessing!

And to that note..I say Bless em Lord..Bless em real good,

so they can bless everyone on the way to the blessing you have in mind for me..and then I can be a blessing to someone else!

When we ask for a Blessing..it should always be with the intent to Bless someone else and keep the cycle going.

Because we really are all part of someone else receiving their Blessing..when you think about it.

And when you think about being a blessing

To someone else...

it's more likely you're going to receive a blessing along the way to being a Blessing!

Luke 6:38 YLT

38 `Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed, and shaken, and running over, they shall give into your bosom; for with that measure with which ye measure, it shall be measured to you again.'

It's not a matter of if He wants to help us..

Because the Word Proclaims He Does!

When you need His help, He has proven time and time again,

that He is Faithful and He’ will do it..

if you ask Him.

Psalms 121:3-4 MSG

3-4 He won’t let you stumble,

your Guardian God won’t fall asleep.

Not on your life! Israel’s

Guardian will never doze or sleep.

God is always on call..always looking for an opportunity

to work things out for you in your situation

God did it for the widow of Zarapheth

She was down to the nitty gritty

She could have said this is it

Time to help God figure out an alternate plan..or we're going to perish.

What did God do?

He sent her a word..

1 Kings 17:12-16 MSG

12 She said, “I swear, as surely as your God lives, I don’t have so much as a biscuit. I have a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a bottle; you found me scratching together just enough firewood to make a last meal for my son and me. After we eat it, we’ll die.”

13-14 Elijah said to her, “Don’t worry about a thing. Go ahead and do what you’ve said. But first make a small biscuit for me and bring it back here. Then go ahead and make a meal from what’s left for you and your son. This is the word of the God of Israel: ‘The jar of flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty before God sends rain on the land and ends this drought.’”
