HOW LOW CAN THE WORLD AND SIN GO?

Seems we live in a day that our spiritual enemy is running wild. Seems people’s imaginations are set against the Bible and God. The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that the greatest minds of the world cannot figure out a cure.

WHO KNOWS THE EVIL THAT CAN REIGN IN THE HEART OF PEOPLE…

Jeremiah 17:9The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

THE VERDICT IS PRETTY CLEAR. THE JUDGMENT IS CLEAR… THE WORLD LOVES DARKNESS…

Why do people love darkness rather than light? --- THEIR DEEDS, MOTIVES AND ATTITUDES ARE EVIL. If people would stay in the light they would be convicted and reproved.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

THERE ARE TWO ARABIC WORDS WE NEED TO CONSIDER:

1. *ZENITH: to go higher, to reach above, the highest point, to reach the top, the head, to crown.

2. *NADIR: (NAY-deer) the point of greatest adversity, low despair, the time of greatest depression, the lowest point, to hit rock bottom, nothing, zero, low ebb, low tide,

THERE ARE LIMITS TO GOD’S GRACE AND MERCY..

Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

GOD so loved the world is true… but God will not always give opportunity and breathe life into men and women endlessly. GOD can see how human evil gets out of control. People tend to think evil, imagined evil—evil, evil, evil from morning to night.

NADIR: AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH: NOAH WARNED AND WARNED GET READY, BE READY--- JUDGMENT IS COMING…

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Noah BUILT THE ARK and he WARNED THE RAIN IS COMING? What is rain, it had never rained before. Jesus is coming back, His arrival will take place in times like Noah's. Before the great flood everyone was carrying on as usual, having a good time right up to the day Noah boarded the ark. They ignored the message, seems they knew nothing—until the flood hit and swept everything away. JESUS IS COMING!

EATING--- name the food places in your area. DRINKING--- Go in any store and count the drinking beverages. Marrying--- we have to approach this with tenderness, open marriages, living together?

NADIR: HOW LOW CAN HUMANITY SINK? SODOM--- GOMORRAH--- BOXED IN, TRAPPED… BY SIN…

Genesis 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

Before LOT AND THE ANGELS went to bed men from all over the city of Sodom, young and old, descended on the house from all sides and boxed them in. The flesh and tolerance became the norm. The homosexuals yelled to Lot, "Where are the men who are staying with you for the night?’’ Bring them out so we can have our sport with them!" Lot went out, barring the door behind him, and said, "Brothers, please, don't be vile!
