VIII. MAIN BODY:

Eunuchs or "sarys saris" in Hebrew meaning:

1. castrate, a eunuch

2. by implication a valet

3. a minister of the state - chamberlain, eunuch, officer, president

Eunuchs because of it's Hebrew meaning, was used to represent a minister of the state or a president.

Now the to answer the question, How can a minister of the state please GOD?

1. "who keep My Sabbaths" - Observe the Sabbaths

Sabbaths or Sabbath is the same in Hebrew "shabbath" meaning:

1. intermission - Cessation for a time; pause; intermediate stop

GOD wants our Sundays devoted to Him, it is an intermediate stop, don't prioritize your work on Sundays but prioritize GOD, don't let any Sunday be devoted to your work but only in GOD's house you need to be.

In the midst of your work or job, if you feel like you're tired and stress, pause for a while, and worship, praise, give glory, give honor, give thanksgiving to the LORD, that's why it's plural Sabbaths, meaning in one day, there are many work pauses and intermission because we praise and worship the LORD in the midst of our work while in the office.

Exodus 20:8 (Amplified Bible)

20:8 [Earnestly] remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (withdrawn from common employment and dedicated to God).

In the Amplified Bible, it was clear that GOD meant that if you have work on that day, you need to withdraw or cease from it and dedicate that day to GOD, now this evil generation is doing the opposite. We know we need to be in the church every Sundays, that's already given, but what we do? We put intermission and we interrupt, cease or withdraw from church then goes off to work.

2. "choose the things which please Me" - Choose things that pleases GOD

As human beings, we have power of choice what we call freewill that's a gift from GOD, but use our freewill to please Him, choose things that will only please GOD.

Joshua 24:15 (Amplified Bible)

24:15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Luke 16:13 (Amplified Bible)

16:13 No servant is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (riches, or anything in which you trust and on which you rely).

You can only choose one, either choose money or GOD, either choose your relationship with GOD or money. If you choose money, you automatically rejected GOD and vice-versa.

3. "hold firmly My covenant" - Hold firmly and unswervingly GOD's WORDS

2 Samuel 23:5 (Amplified Bible)

23:5 Truly does not my house stand so with God? For He has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure. For will He not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?

Isaiah 55:3 (Amplified Bible)

55:3 Incline your ear [submit and consent to the divine will] and come to Me; hear, and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness, goodwill, and compassion) promised to David.

Jeremiah 50:5 (Amplified Bible)

50:5 They shall ask the way to Zion, with their faces in that direction, saying, Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

Treasure GOD's WORDS deep in your heart, take care of it like it's your own life and it really is.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Remember it's not easy to do all these but if someone can do this, there's a reward.
