HOW CAN A MAN ? DROWNING IN QUESTIONS?

As a teacher I love questions? Questions can be a valuable teaching tool!

But know this QUESTIONING can be a hindrance to progress.

The Bible is full of questions.

The first question is simple: AM I MY BROTHER'S KEEPER?

Come let us reason together.

TEXT: (QUESTION) SMART MEN DO NOT HAVE THE ANSWERS...

Psalm 51:10 (KJV) Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Ephesians 4:23 (KJV) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

THERE ARE MANY QUESTIONS IN THE BIBLE THAT ARE GOOD TO PONDER.

JOB ASKED GOD MANY QUESTIONS?

THE BOTTOM LINE OF THE QUESTIONS:

WHY? WHY GOD?

WHY IS A GOOD QUESTION?

Job's friends posed many question to ponder? Question to Job? Questions for Job to consider?

SEEMS THEY COULD COME TO NO HUMAN CONCLUSIONS OR ANSWERS.

SO AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME GOD SHOWS UP AND HAS A PERSONAL

RELATIONSHIP AND CONVERSATION WITH JOB!

You many be surprised HOW GOD ANSWERED JOB'S QUESTIONS?

JOB HAD BEEN TESTED FROM ONE EXTREME TO THE OTHER...

DAY EVER DAY JOB WAS TESTED AND QUESTIONED GOD.

There had been 100's of questions Job and his friends pondered and questioned each

other and questioned God

Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

READ JOB 38 and 39...

GOD STARTS A DIRECT DISCUSSION WITH JOB AND GOD IS HONEST AND DIRECT...

GOD NEVER ANSWERS ONE OF JOB'S QUESTIONS!

GOD ANSWERS JOB'S QUESTIONS WITH HARD QUESTIONS THAT JOB COULD NOT ANSWER.

Job if you think you are so smart to question God, GOD HAS A FEW QUESTIONS FOR YOU?

Job 38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

1. JOB'S FIRST DIVINE QUESTION FROM GOD...

Job 38:2 (NLT) “Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words?

2. HEY BUDDY, IF YOU DEMAND ME TO ANSWER YOU, TELL ME SOMETHING?

Job 38:4 (NLT) “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much.

More questions come in Job 28:

3. Who determined the dimensions of the universe? Could you the survey creation and measure it?

4. What? and where? is the FOUNDATION that supports the systems of the universe?

5. How do the stars shine?

6. How about the seas, what keeps them going?

7. How do clouds float and keep fresh rain?

8. HOW DOES LIGHT WORK? Do you know light travels at 186,000 miles an hour?

There are at least 35 questions in Job 38 that we can not answer today?

There are 13 more questions God demands to know in Job 39?

THEN GOD TELLS JOB SOMETHINGS AND JOB LEARNS, MAN IS NOT AS SMART

THAT GOD MUST EXPLAIN AND TEACH US TO UNDERSTAND AND GET OUR APPROVAL

FOR HIS ACTIONS? THE QUESTIONS CONTINUE ...

Job 40:1 (NLT) Then the Lord said to Job, 2 “Do you still want to argue with the Almighty? You are

God’s critic, but do you have the answers?” 3 Then Job replied to the Lord,

4 “I am nothing—how could I ever find the answers? I will cover my mouth with my hand.

5 I have said too much already. I have nothing more to say.” 6 Then the Lord answered Job from the

whirlwind: 7 “Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must

answer them. 8 “Will you discredit my justice and condemn me just to prove you are right?

THERE ARE OVER 63 QUESTIONS GOD DEMANDS AN ANSWER TO IF WE THINK

WE CAN DEMAND OF HIM...

GOD ANSWERS ALL OF MAN'S DEMANDS AND QUESTIONS BOLDLY ---

WITH THE QUESTION --- CAN HUMAN REASONING COMPREHEND GOD'S WORKS...

THE LORD CORRECTS JOB AND HIS FRIENDS --- THEY KNOW GOD AND HAVE

TO LEARN TO TRUST HIM...

Job 42:1-2 (NLT) Then Job replied to the Lord: 2 “I know that you can do anything, and no one can

stop you.

Job 42:6 (NLT) I take back everything I said, and I sit in dust and ashes to show my repentance.”

Job 42:10 (NLT) When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave

him twice as much as before!

COMMON SENSE IS NOT ALWAYS COMMON...

SMART PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW IT ALL...

HOW CAN COME TO THE POINT IN OUR BRAINS TO UNDERSTAND WE NEED A NEW

BIRTH, A NEW HEART AND MIND... WE MUST HAVE A RENEWAL...

QUESTIONS CAN PROVE HOW SMART ARE HOW STUPID SMART PEOPLE CAN BE?

THERE WAS A QUESTION: WHOSE WIFE WILL SHE BE? HUSBAND #1? #5?

YOU DO NOT KNOW THE WORD OR THE TRUTH!
