How Bad do you want it?
James 4:6-10
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God , and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

If you want something bad enough you will pay the price to get it.
Naaman wanted something real bad..a healing
2 Kings 5:1-14
5:1 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
*Naaman was a great man, but he had a problem, and he knew it!
*There is a lot of great people in the world, some realize their problem, some dont
*There is a lot of great people in the church, and they sometimes have problems too.
*The first step to getting what you need from God, is realizing you have a need.
7 And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.
8 And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
When Naaman heard the man of God wanted to see him, he probably came with speed to the Prophets house to get a answer for his need..hoping to get his answer
After all, he was, a Captain, of course he was going to get right on in to see the preacher
10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.
*But he never even got to see the preacher, all he got was a message go wash your self in the ole nasty Jordan.blah
*He was madder than a ole wet hen
*Who does this preacher think he is? Telling me to wash in the Jordan?
*Doesnt he know “That I am a Captain of the Host?
*Sometimes we think just like ole Naaman, we want the easy way out for what we need from God.
*We dont want to be put out.we Have too much pride. After all Naaman was a Captain. We have people who think just because they are 3rd Generation Pentecostals that they should get a easy out
*They dont want to get messed up
12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.
*He was willing to leave the same way he came with the same problem
*So many times we as Apostolics leave the same way we came because we didnt like what the preacher had to say
*Make it easy on me preacher
*Tickle my ear preacher
*Say a prayer to give me goose pimples man!
*But dont make me give up, or belittle my postion in the church by looking Humble
*Remember God Resists the proud, but giveth Grace to the humble
*Ive never seen God fill a person with the Holy Ghost who wasnt willing to humble them self
