VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Those who went before

"And those who went before"

In the Old Testament, before and after, GOD's Presence is guarded.

Joshua 6:13 (Amplified Bible)

6:13 And the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord passed on, blowing the trumpets continually; and the armed men went before them and the rear guard came after the ark of the Lord, the priests blowing the trumpets as they went.

But in the New Testament, GOD's Presence is praised and worshipped and GOD's Presence is at the Center. JESUS is Manifested GOD's Presence.

Colossians 2:9 (Amplified Bible)

2:9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

Exodus 25:22 (Amplified Bible)

25:22 There I will meet with you and, from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are upon the ark of the Testimony, I will speak intimately with you of all which I will give you in commandment to the Israelites.

B. Those who followed after

"and those who followed cried out [ith a cry of happiness],"

GOD's Presence is always at the center of the universe.

C. Cried out: "Hosanna!"

"Hosanna! [Be graciously inclined and propitious to Him!] Praised and blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!"

Hosanna means (from the origin Hebrew word) "be open, wide, or free", "to be safe", "bring salvation", "get victory".

In the Old Testament, the word is used to save, help or bring salvation, but in the New Testament, it's only attributed or greeted to One Person, that is, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Since all scriptures are inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT. The HOLY SPIRIT is telling us that Only One Person - the GOD-MAN, the LORD JESUS CHRIST can fully save, bring salvation and get victory for us to enjoy the benefits.

Psalms 106:47 (Amplified Bible)

106:47 Deliver us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name and glory in praising You.

Psalms 107:13 (Amplified Bible)

107:13 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.

Psalms 109:26 (Amplified Bible)

109:26 Help me, O Lord my God; O save me according to Your mercy and loving-kindness!—

Only in JESUS can we find Salvation for our souls.

Matthew 21:9 (Amplified Bible)

21:9 And the crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed Him kept shouting, Hosanna (O be propitious, graciously inclined) to the Son of David, [the Messiah]! Blessed (praised, glorified) is He Who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna (O be favorably disposed) in the highest [heaven]!

Mark 11:9-10 (Amplified Bible)

11:9 And those who went before and those who followed cried out [ith a cry of happiness], Hosanna! [Be graciously inclined and propitious to Him!] Praised and blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!

11:10 Praised and blessed in the name of the Lord is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna (O save us) in the highest [heaven]!

John 12:13 (Amplified Bible)

12:13 So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him. And as they went, they kept shouting, Hosanna! Blessed is He and praise to Him Who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!

Acts 4:12 (Amplified Bible)

4:12 And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.

IX. CONCLUSION:

GOD's Presence is always with us, within us, at our center.
